I got the call 10/23/11 @ 11:40am from "Visa" on an AT&T phone. They are not just attacking Verizon phones. I obviously did not put in my information but I did follow through the prompts. They asked for credit card number, Expiration date, three digit security code, pin number, and social security number. This is really sad. People could really do some damage with those numbers, to your credit and your bank accounts. I would think that the government should go after these people!

Just got a call from this number, upon answering I got a recorded message that said my Wells Fargo card had been locked for my security.  And then they hung up. I don't have a Wells Fargo account.  Yet another scam!  Seriously people get a life and quit interrupting mine!

Got a call from the number minutes ago claiming my visa debit card has been deactivated.  only problem is I don't have one.  Used another phone to call back and got a VM stating that it was "The Latitude".  This has SCAM written all over it>

Just got a call that said our debit card was deactivated on a work cell phone. have never given the number out! it is a work phone for a state agency employer.... they are definately fishing! This happened at 5:04PM near Olympia WA

Report such calls to the FCC: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.  Choose the "wireless telephone" option.

I just received the same call.  I live in Olympia as well.  Someone must've gotten a list from either state registry or Verizon.

Just received from so called VISA advising of a security breach and to hit "1" to renew card. I hit "1", then they wanted my account number. That's when I hung up.

Just as a follow-up, I did send an email to the Attorney General's office here in WA St about this.  Obviously we all know this is bogus and know not to provide personal info to someone who calls you, but it's important to shut these people down to protect elderly folks and others who may not know it's a scam.

got a call said my debit card did not go thru need to update info I said good I have more money will check on this tomorrow tonight I am going drinkin I have money

Call from NY at 7pm PST.
I did not answer the call because nobody from NY should/would be calling me.

I redialed and a recording came on that said something about "welcome to "the latitude" I am currently on the phone with another customer please leave your name and phone number"  

I didn't leave a message.

Got same call from 718-683-3104 about fraud activity on my VISA debit card, did nothing.  Call came on my cell, Verizon acct. Called it back and got some recording for business called Lattitude.

Same as all of the above. One of my daughter's friends (age 13) received the same call on her phone as well! Olympia seams to have been targeted for some reason. I have contacted the WA state attorney general's office. I encourage anyone from Olympia to do the same.

just got one too.... claiming to be from VISA "debit card deactivated for shopping and atm"...  hang up....   call the number back and it will give you a chance to leave a message... just let it record for the designated 5+ minutes... made me feel better anyway... then block the number

Call phishing for my visa debit card information. called my cell phone - no bank has my cell phone info .

Just got this same call from 718-683-3104. It's a scam. One month ago we put all of our numbers on the Do Not Call List and we have lost count how many of these types of calls are coming in.
