They just called me but I didn't answer as it says it was from New York, USA and I am in the UK...I don't want those charges on my phone!

I am from Toronto, Canada.  I got 4 consecutive calls in two minutes time and I didn't answer.  These types fraudsters more active now a days and i have decided to not to answer any unanimous calls

They called in regards to my post on CL about my missing dog. I must have gotten a newb, 'cause when I said I'm not interested he just let it go, and said good day.

Total scam company - still trying this [***] - tell them to F* off when they call.  

I got a call from this number today, and suspecting it to be one of these types of calls I rejected it on my cell phone. Thanks for confirming my suspicions on this though. Seems they'll call anyone, anywhere. Hope they get a HUGE phone bill for NO reward!

A guy called saying he is from windows technical department. Pretends he is calling to help me fix a bug in my computer, that he got notified by a router that my software has an issue and that he could fix it.

they called me last night  as well .

i think where ever called my phone last night . they got on to my computer and controlled it . if they are scammers they need to be arrested . i have a disability . and the call was not fair to me .

They called our home this morning at 5:02 am PST, January 22, 2015.  I picked the phone up and hung it up.  I was just in disbelief someone outside of an emergency would call and wake our home like that.

I believe they are changing their scam racket.  Number showed up 718-783-8997.  Message sounded like a computerized recording.  Stated that IRS was suing and to call promptly 306-347-1806.  FYI: According to something I read today, the IRS will send you a bill in the mail first (never e-mail or phone).  These trashy people need to be taken down!  This could scare the elderly!  Leeches! These people put so much effort into this and risk, they would be better off getting a real job.

Recorded message.  Woman's voice....no foreign accent.  Recording said we were being sued by the IRS and gave a telephone number to call.

Don't know if the number is the same, but have received about three calls saying we have viruses in our computer.

Some curry swilling joker calls me up to pull that "oh your computer is having problems and transmitting bad data and I am from Microsoft to help you" routine, I played along and ate up a good 15 to 20 minutes of his time (hey my computer 'crashed' several times, probably due to the "problems"), "error messages", etc., finally after "rebooting again" I told him there was a serious error message on my screen, he says "what is the message" and I said "my system says I'm talking to a f--king con man on the telephone and to tell him to f--k himself!!" and I slammed the phone.

Felt GOOD.
