I was a little taken in by this because I really need a job but my gut knew something wasn't right. Received a call from a person named KIM, no last name, from NILICO National Income LIfe. I too was offered a management position. Said the interview was at 44 W. Jefryn Blvd, suite Q, in Deer Park. What I tought was odd is that she also stated the zip code! Why would I need that! I know where Deer Park is! I tried to call back and their phone system sucks! Cound not get to leave a message! It said transferring to KIM, again no last name, odd but never did I get her voicemail. Terrible that people are always trying to scam. I hope she calls me today so I can give her a piece of my mind!

Spoke with Courtney on the phone with the same story. Asked if I had management experience but she really wasn't listening to responses. Told her I couldn't schedule an appointment until I checked online and asked if I could have a later appointment.  She said she only had morning appointments in Deer Park and one at 6 p.m. in Flushing off the Whitestone Expressway. When I asked if I could call her back, she said she only works til 3 p.m. and I could leave a message.

I just got a call from this number.  I was suspicious because it's 7:30 PM, not business hours.  He also said he saw my resume posted on Monster.com.  As an HR Assistant I know that's not how we do things.  We post positions and have applicants apply by sending their resumes.  We don't peruse Monster.com or any other job listing sites and look for resumes that match our requirements.  Didn't seem right so I told him I was no longer looking for work.

I just got a call from this number as well!  The representative Kim said she saw my resume on Monster.com and wanted to know if I was interested in an HR/Management position.  Since I am unemployed and sent out a ton of resumes, I can't remember how many companies I contacted or vice versa.  I said I was looking for part-time afternoon work, so Kim informed me that they will keep my resume on file in case a part-time gig becomes available!  The company is called "National Income Life" and I have received calls from this number but no one left a message.  Another reason why I don't like to expose my personal contact information even when it's a job website!  :)   Lesson Learned:  Always follow my gut instincts! So, I decided to come online, check out the number and so glad I saw this post.

I receive a call on my cell from this numer on 12-19-11. The caller said he got my info from a union card that I filled out but forgot to sign ..(but he couldn't tell me how long ago).  He wanted me to verify my brothers fulll name (which to my surprize he knew)   He said that he would be in my ZIPCODE (which he knew) tomorrow and could we meet up .I said sure but he never called back.   I believe I unwittingly gave him what he needed by just acknowledging my brothers name was corect....lesson learn!!!!!

I saw this number on my missed calls list at 8:30 on sat morning. They didnt leave a message but I called back because ive had a death in the family this weekend and thought it might be a relative calling. Then when I heard the machine and the location (whitestone expressway) I googled and saw this post. I will be putting this number on my reject list.

    True lies
Who ever think this company is not a scam is an idiot. They call you from HR advising they have several office opportunities such a Management to get you in the door and shove a whole lot of BS in your heads on sales and completing courses to get paid. Wake up people. To those of you who work there great kudos to you an the BS INS your selling. I have been in the insurance field for 7 years and have a NYS adjuster License. But I will not agree to sell INS to people for a company who has no integrity and feels its ok to lie and mislead people in order for them to work there. There are a lot of legitimate companies who advertise INS sales positions without this diversion or distraction. It just makes you wonder if you are really selling INS or a bunch of the same BS that brought you to this company and helping this company take money from innocent people.

I never pick up when this number comes up, but I've been getting spammed by The Pappas group via email for months. I never realized there was a connection...heh.

These guys are bad news man.  Careerbuilder/Monster et all should really do more to keep their user's numbers from falling into the hands of scam artists. Not dangerous, just annoying.

Thank goodness for this post. I am currently unemployed and have been posting my resume. I received a call from these folks and was excited. But I always google the numbers because there are so many scams out there. This one will be going straight to VM. Thanks again.

Got call from 718-888-9862, I never solicited this company, sounded like an illiterate black girl on the other end of the phone. Probably a CIA/FBI/DHS/KGB operation. This girl couldn't even pronounce words, on the other end of the phone and I am going to take  a job with a company like this? Maybe they have a Bridge in Brooklyn, NY they want to sell me?? Give me a break..

WOW!! I received an email from this company by a guy named Mark who listed this phone number. The interview was set for Wednesday at 11am at the Whitestone Bridge. Its unbelievable how these scammers prey on the unemployed. This is my second different encounter with scammers and I just started to post my resume this week. My question is what are they trying to scam out of the unemployed???

Just as I finished getting everything ready for my interview with the infamous Kim tomorrow. I take a look at my interview preparation check list, and what do ya know, I forgot to do my research on "the company". So after doing a reverse search on 718-888-9862, here I am... Whats even more ironic, is that while double checking that the hopstop link I sent myself went through, I happen to see some spam in my folder from this Theo Pappas character (HumanResources-NIL@tmkrms.com). However, Russell Brady is the one who is telling me to call 718-888-9428 to talk about a couple of positions within the company... Now Im just a little confused with what kind of fugazi a** operation is going on up the alley and behind 30-50 Whitestone Expressway. I have not a clue regarding the chain of command in a place like, well whatever type of business they say they are, but something is awry when "the national recruiting director" can send emails in the "state general agents'" name... Think Im gonna pass on this one.

Got a call from these people today just like all of the above, sad to say that I was excited about the interview as well. When the girl called, there was so much noise in the background I can barely hear what she was saying. I hate to go on interviews without knowing anything about the company so I went online and googled the number and this is what I found. I'm so happy I didn't waste my time going all the way out there smdh!...these people need to be stopped!

I work not to far from this building 30-50 Whitestone Expy.  The building is shared with a DMV office, so the back door is the only entrance to the building. If driving you have to pay for parking unless your an employee for a company there. As far as the scams/job offers go I have no clue about it. I also received a call from that number around 8pm but i did not answer.
