So I read how everyone got a call for an interview.. Did anyone actually go check it out?? How do u know its a scam?? Did they ask you for money?? What is the scam they are doing??my interview is in afew days let's see how it  goes, I will post details afterwards :)

I actually got a call from 631-940-9454 but for the same company at the Deer Park address.  She was very elusive about what the position entailed, just that I would "be in charge of a team of 3 people" and there was something about sales and insurance.  The caller threw around accounts like the NYC fire department and police department and also said that they handled actors as well.  It sounded scammy but I went with it because she just kept talking.  I figured I could always check it out later, which, obviously, I am doing now.  And I have found these postings.  What was weird was that she had a very old resume of mine...my address and number has changed twice (she called my mother's number and my mother gave her my number thinking this was a good lead) and I have updated it on both Monster and Careerbuilder, so I am not sure where she got this old number.  I think, like others on here, I am just going to delete my resumes because I have never gotten a good lead from any of these employment sites, only scam calls like this one.

just got dis nember today 543pm on the same thing so i see its a scam so i will not respond back dey said dey was from child safety concerning amber alert systems and dey said my good friend name n her husband name so i wouldnt think its a scam until i read dis dey goin to get a rule awakening if they come here

This number call me several times whit out leaving a message. Today i picked the phone and it was someone name Julia with the safety kid program Amber Alert. I remember asking for info on the amber alert but it was a long time ago, then she said my friend Jesica refer me, she sounded so nice an honest that i didn't tough go anything until the call ended. Yes i do have a friend Jesica but i never talk to her about the amber alert info, then she schedule an appointment to come to the apartment which is for tomorrow at 10am and she even gave me a confirmation number .But what got me is that she ask me if i have accounts locally or credit accounts and i say locally.But she told me that i don't have to paid for anything. I don't know why i didn't react before giving my address for the appointment i try to call back to cancel the appointment but all i get is a corporation and no one pick the phone.

Yeah, I was just called by a very inarticulate girl who wanted to set up an interview. I decided to cut the phone call short when she yawned for about five seconds right in the middle of reading her script.

I received a very low voiced message from a woman named Olga after 5 PM also saying she received my resume, but didn't state any additional info as well.  Thanks 4 the heads up.  Caller ID stated Benefits Dept.

I just received a call.  Person stated they reviewed my resume on Monster.  This is a scam - do not go on any interviews when the caller does not even want to specify the duties of the position!

I KNEW something was up when she said she got my resume off of Monster.com, but turned and asked what's my career goals and if I was willing to change direction. She (her name was ILma) called me on a Wednesday and asked if I could come in for Thursday morning. I couldn't, so she asked if I could come in on Saturday. I reluctantly agreed. But felt something was off. She kept saying good luck, like I was lucky if I got out of there. And wouldn't answer certain questions I asked. I could barely understand the company she said. First, it was a Marketing Firm position, then a Pappas Agency. smh...I was planning on getting dropped off at Whitestone Expressway. I just called my ride and told them never mind!

Pay attention to the signs of a scam!

We are hiring for benefits consultant positions as well as management level positions. You will be working strictly with union members as we don't work with the general public. You would be consulting with them what benefits they are interested in and completing all the necessary paperwork pertaining to those benefits. We also have a management positions open.

You people here are very smart to research before wasting your time and money to travel to this company.... Be careful out there because they are not the only scammers that doing this type of fraud. 718-888-9862

avoid having free child safe id kits really ? just because you dont see the value of this doesnt mean other people wont

you should of went to the interview cause i sure did and im loving it

the reason why she asked is because if you bank with credit unions you will receive some additional no cost benefits so you should kept your appointment versus leaving the person you made the appointment with stranded outside of your house who's trying help you protect you and your family with some union benefits

if you dint go to the interview and took the opportunity then your a sucker !!!

I like others missed the call from this number so I figure I google it glad I did..I have had a few missed calls from this number so I'm happy to find it's a scam and it's such a shame because so many people are just trying to find employment!!

Got a phone call with an accidental message that went on and on.  It was magical listening to their loser gossip while they were trying to make me a victim of their telemarketing scheme...AWESOME.  Now I know, thanks people.

Did anyone actually go on the interview? Because I'm reading about them scamming people and I don't understand how? Or how they scam you? Is it like a job selling knives deal?
