Calls several times a day only wanting to speak to my wife! When I answer he hangs up. I want this stopped now!!!

Got a call from "Gavin Austin" I usually don't answer if I don't know you.  This time I did and he asked to speak to the Preacher or a church leader, I said this was a private residence, he appologized and hung-up.  As my number use to belong to a church, I've gotten these calls before.  But, as with the others who have written, he's called here before, it will be interesting to see if he stops now.

They call 2 or 3 times a day but no one is on the line. Do I speak the wrong language?????

Got three calls on caller_ID in the last 6 hours today (12-4-09). Do not subscribe to Better Homes and Gardens but DO subscribe to Ladies Home Journal. Plan to contact them and let them know they may have been hacked.

CalLed at 8:48PM 12/3/09, answered, but no one there.  We have a TeleZapper to zap computer calls, maybe this stopped it.  We receive Better Homes & Gardens, but will NOT renew it!

This person is a [***].  I recieve two calls a day, just the same as most of the rest of you.  I have called back and got no answer.  The person needs to get a life and stop calling people and bothering them.

Receiving this call about twice a day (or more) for about 2 weeks now - no one says anything when I answer nor leaves a message when I don't.  I called it back and it said mailbox was full please try again later.

We get a couple of calls a day from this number, very annoying, noone ever on the other end.

they should be fined

Same thing, but this is to give a gift subscription for Traditional Home.  These are subscription agencies that have a rather loose or "unauthorized" arrangment with the magazines.  I complained to Traditional Home directly, as this is what they said:  "We believe the call was made by a subscription agency. We take these complaints very seriously and we do not condone any company making nasty and harassing phone calls. As we identify these companies, who are not authorized to sell our magazines, we can take further action against them. Thank you for informing us of your difficulties with these calls."

Received call on 12/11/09.  Did not answer.  Shows name as unknown.  Left no message.  I called the number back a couple of days later.  Machine says it's a law firm and voice mail box is full.

Has called numerous times over last couple weeks.  No voice, no message.

Called on December 17. Asked to speak to me. When I said " this is she" they hung up. Woman caller, never said anything else. ?????? ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite being on national do not call lists, we've received calls from this number several times a week for more than a month. No one ever speaks or leaves a message. When we call back, no one usually answers. We called back today and got a message to leave our number if we wanted to be on their do not call list, so we did. Maybe now the calls will stop! Very annoying.

Called this number back and heard a message that the mail box was full but remained on the line.  Eventually I was sent to a voicemail and was able to leave a message to remove my number and not to call again.  We will see if the calls stop.

I've had several calls over the past month or so and began tracking them recently.  As of 1-6-10, the log is as follows:
12-28-09, 6:22 p.m. - Did not answer the phone, it went to the machine.  They waited for the beep and then hung up.
1-5-10, 5:09 p.m. - Did not answer the phone, it went to the machine.  They waited for the beep and hung up.
1-6-10, 6:16 p.m. - I answered, said "Hello" twice and no one responded.  I called that number and got a recording that the mailbox was full.
