At least they waited a month to use this number to call me again.

Since Cingular Wireless is providing the service for the company, you might ask your lawyer if there is a way to find CW culpable. Would be a great way to get this to stop if a class action suit could be filed against Cingular Wireless...

I've been ignoring the calls and now they are calling every day instead of every week.  Amazing our freaking government can find Bin Laden and kill him yet they can't shut these jerks down.  Next step is to start writing my congressmen to revoke the FTC's funding until they can wake up and do their jobs.

How do you keep them on the phone?  They hang up on me no matter what I say.

Getting calls from this number on a daily bases. Tried to ask to be take off the list and was hung up on. Then today they called right back.

Ethan: "This is Ethan, did you press 1 to lower your credit card interest rates??" -- expectantly dripping with [***] 

Me: "No, to get off your list"

Ethan: "Shut y'r mouth, I'm calling again tomorrow b***h! Bye-bye...click"

Something tells me they pretty much believe they can do what they want....and from the amount of posting here and elsewhere, I see no evidence to the contrary.

This number has called my cell phone number repeatedly.   I have registered my number with the National Do Not Call registry so they are in violation.   Caller did not identify themselves.

Darn!  I missed a call from this number today!  So, to help them out, I reported them to the Do Not Call registry, then added them to my "reject call" list.  They won't be calling back, and if they do, I'll never know about it. :)

I just called the FTC. They advised me to save the # in my phone & not to answer when they call. I you do answer DO NOT hit 1 and speak with anyone. Just wait for it to ring through to the end of the call. It will disconnect you automatically. Pressing 1 indicated that you are interested in talking with someone. If you do not press 1 they will hopefully stop calling you!

There are 2 numbers that continously call me.  720-409-2532 and 971-220-1003.  When I answer no one is there.  I don't know how much telemarketing they can be doing if all their robo callers are doing is hanging up.  I am on the no call list.  Alot of help that is.

This phone number, 720-409-2532 DOES NOT belong to the Jakoby Law Firm.  It goes to a credit card telemarketing center offering a lower interest rate on a pre-approved credit card. But again, this phone # does not belong to the Jakoby Law Firm.

They call at least two to three times a week. Usually while I'm at work. I press 1, put the phone on speaker, set it down next to my computer speakers, and crank up some Ted Nugent, Godsmack, or other loud rock, and let the poor dumb [***] on the other end of the line get an earful. Don't give me that "they're just trying to make a living" crap, there are much more respectable professions out there than trying to scam people.
