They call me at least once a day, and never leave a message. I finally got curious and called back, but I got a recording stating that there was nobody on duty and that I should call back tomorrow.. Weird~

called my moms number asking for my dad. would not say who was calling but guy on phone said her name would be removed in 24 hours. sounds like they are phishing for info, just happened to match a correct name to a wrong number .

I too have been getting harrassed by this number 724-209-6600.  My caller ID says it's Allied Interstate.  They call all hours of the day, everyday, weekends included.  I started seeing this number on my caller ID when I would get home but no messages would be left.  The first few times that I was home I answered the call and nobody would say anything, and then they would hang up.  I quit answering their calls and they still never leave a message.  I'm surprised to hear that they are a collection agency, their name had me under a different impression.  I thought Allied Interstate is an insurance company.  I assumed they were trying to sell me their services.  I get that a lot.  I wish they would either quit calling or actually say something when I answer so I knew what they were calling about.  So Annoying!!

I called and they said they would take me off I hope they do. I told them I would file a complaint if they didn't. She hung up on me.

3 times so far today. They hang up when I answer. So much for the "Do Not Call" list.

I called them back and asked them why they keep calling and always hang up, they asked me what number they were calling, told them and the asked if "Fake Name" was at this number, I said no. They said they would take me off the list..

I Suggest that if they keep calling, that everyone here takes some time to flood their phones and call them back with a unified message of some sort. I'd be happy to call them repeatedly for a whole day on my day off if they continue to call me. I know this may seem immature, but I am seriously thinking of using bad language repeatedly if they continue to bother me.

I started cgetting calls from this number too...called right back once after they'd left no message on voice mail, got a recording saying it was "after business hours' and they were closed.

Anyway, I called the number this morning from a pay phone (yes, we still have one or two here)since now I'm aware some companie can "see" your number even why it's unlisted/ private.

The guy who I got on the phone was very vague, said something about "a financial institute"...I finally broke down and gave them my number as i wanted to know what this was about..*I* have no debt, other than my house...I'm retired..I figured they were looking for someone else.

When he asked "is this My Name?"...I hung up.

Apparently they *are* looking for me..but I'm puzzled.
I don't have any outstanding debts.

So, why would they be looking for me?

Do not owe anyone money so don't know why they are calling us.

They called my cell this morning at 10:35...noone was there, all I heard was breathing. I checked here to see who it was and I read this! This happened to me before. ANd they are calling my house as well. I don't have any debt problems. I called my bank and I actually have a subscription to a credit reporting company to tell me if anything bad happend to my credit or if someone steals my identity. BOTH of them told me I have no credit issues or debt, so obviously this phone number and reading these posts is making me upset. I am going to track how many times they call and post them here. Here's hoping they stop. I doubt it.

Strangely, no one would respond when we answered.

I got this number too. They hung up on me when I said hello. Sad thing for them is, I am now accepting collection agency calls because I am ready to work on my debts. Hey, here's a tip. If they are calling your cell phone, program the number in your phone's memory with a silent ring tone. If you have some T-Mobile phones, you can program your phone to send that number to voicemail every time. Can you say "Allied Who?"

They have called 12 times in six days. I have no idea why they are calling because they never leave a message. I read some of your comments about filing a complaint to the FCC. How would I do that. They are harassing me.
