I got a call from this number yesterday, but i don't answer phone calls if the number (especially the area code) is not something that i can recognize. but it's annoying that they make calls in the first place when they have no business to, since i don't give out my number easily.

I wish cold-calling pre-paid cell phones got you life in prison.  But really, the cell companies should get involved.  If they had to pay twice what the call costs the customer (pre-paid or not) when their customers are solicited to, they would quickly get fed up with the amount of dollars vanishing to telemarketing.  None of us as individuals could do anything of consequence to this number, but if Virgin or Bell or Telus or whoever was fitting the bill plus an inconvenience charge to me and you who received a call from this number, they would quickly find a way to shut down anyone cold-calling customers on their network.  As a pre-paid customer I truly believe the onus is on my carrier to keep my number out of the hands of telemarketers.

Too bad mobile companies will never do this.  We've the lost the power of always being right as customers..

i got the same freaking call on my cell in Canada from pensylvania as well... i didnt answer... they may be hacking into cell providers records as well since i dont use ebay or anything like that

Just got a call from this number on my cell, did not pick up.  Tried from a land line and the automessage says it's disconnected.  Thankfully, they did not leave a message

i got called exactly at one in the morning and my caller id said the name was marko somenthing i was sleeping and the same thing they said i won somenthing and they ask 4 some #s i was too tired and i got mad so i just hang up i wonder how they got my cell phone!

I got a call from this number.  I asked where they were calling from and they hung up.

Just got a call from it and it spoke Spanish at me.  I hung up.

My husband got a call from this number too.  He decided not to answer it.  No message was left and when he tried to call back, it said the number was disconnected.  Scam.

Answered and it was an automated voice message saying I'd won $3100 in travel dollars at which point I hung up!!

Just called my work phone number.  I did not recognize it as a client or co-worker, so I didn't answer, but then checked it out here.  Voicemail picked up, but only silence was recorded.

Called me. Didn't pick up and didn't leave message.

Got this call at 4am yesterday too, same scenario as everyone else on here.  My number is registered with www.donotcall.gov as well (highly recommended!), so I am not sure how they got my number.  I have just filed a complaint with the "National Do Not Call Registry".

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone as well. Didn't answer just checked on here. I'm in Canada as well. The only thing I can think of that I filled out a ballot at a "Home Show" a few weeks ago. I may have put my cell number for contact info.

I just received a call from this number, 2:43pm   I am in Victoria, BC  Canada.  No message was left and I just ignored it when it showed up.

Getting a little tired of this number calling !
