Is not that they're like many other low life debt collectors out there, these guys actually are among the more professional debt collectors - hard to believe, isn't it? However because they buy leads and debt in bulk, they acquire old and statute expired debt, right along with legitimate ones. Unfortunately is not going to help their bottom line to try to figure which is which, so they go after all of them.  It gets nasty when they work an account for a while and there is no pay off.  At that point for all their grand standings, their agents act no different that any other low life debt collector. And no - they will not listen to any arguments about the debt is old, paid off, or not yours. All they want is some money (10 to 30 cents on the dollar) so they can get the supervisors off their back and maybe get a bonus. This company is a big one so they know how to get around federal rules. If you want to get them off of you, go through your state's authorities.

I received a call from this number. I didn't answer it because the number is not one that I recognize. I don't answer calls I don't recognize, so I looked the number up on Google and this site came up.

Portfolio Recovery Services. Debt from 20 years ago which was filed in bankruptcy and these fools don't know even to even check with clerk of the court.

The voicemail, for my phone, is completely turned off, and disabled.

The "answering machine", should be on my phone, anyway.

With the voicemail turned off, the phone keeps ringing, for-longer.

If they, feel a nibble, it's "fish on".

"Oh, my. So-and-so, can't be reached, or is avoiding, the doom, they know is coming."

Just pay, now, and your family, friends, loved ones, or even yourself, won't face judgement at, the high court.

Four calls in 30 seconds. I couldn't even view the three "missed" calls I had ignored before the fourth came through. Unbelievable.

Called me after calling on and off from different numbers caught on to the prank and identified myself as fedeal agent. Lil punk hung up when I told him I can trace his call

They called my husband then my cell phone no messages in either phone to me is a scam will not answer do to me not knowing who they are

Constantly calling my cell phone during work hours. Don't know the number so I won't answer. No message left either to identify who they are or what they want. So very annoying.

Got a call from this #, to my cell, but it was automatically blocked by an app I downloaded called Truecaller it recognized as spam. Thanks for everyone else's input.

Junk debt collector,  goes by "Mike"... Mike is a scumbag, collects old worthless or made up debts that have no legal recourse. DO NOT GIVE HIM/THEM A PENNY! It wont help you one penny worth... this is an illegal attempt to scam hard earned money from you, they will lie, it will not repair your credit, the debt is past statute of limitation, they are scum, straight up. Tell them not to call again and you are going to Report them already (and please do) block the #, log the date/time/name/info each call (you can sue/win ez) feel free to look it up yourself.

I get calls from this company all the time, they have called even tho I am not the person they are looking for and I've told the this 100 times mostly it's a robo call with music or something stupid, this company has been sued along with capital one and another cap one collector, yet they continue to hound me. My next option is complain to the Attorney general they have 50 numbers to date they have called me from, from California to Florida and every state in between, I've blocked every number they call from so it's costing them big time to harass the wrong person.

These scumbags are the bottom feeders of debt collectors. They have at least 18 phone numbers and call at all hours of the day and night. If you have a smart phone or Iphone just add these numbers to your black list.

I just received a call from this number and they asked for my father name. I asked her what it was about and she said it was a personal matter and asked if she could have his number to reach him. I told her my father is in a nursing home and probably wouldn't be able to take care of what she needs. She then said goodbye and hung up.
