Received call from this number. No message left.

Most have identified the caller as Portfolio Recovery. They specialize in purchasing bad debt for pennies on the dollar because it has passed the statute of limitation. They then attempt to collect on the bills.

You will eventually be included in a class action settlement.  I file these all the time and have been lumped into 2 class action lawsuits.
First settlement to me was $1500, Second is still pending.

Complain Complain Complain, the only way to stop these rump rangers.

I also receive several calls daily from different numbers from these people. Can they sue you for debt they are trying to collect? My son told me some guy came looking for me the other day and said he had legal papers for me.

Someone called from the said phone number but will not leave a voice mail message.  Please begin investigation, suspect caller is suspicious and possible Scam.

They accidentally left a voicemail.  Couldn't hardly make out what they were saying but was a guy talking to a friend sounded like a young guy by the language used....words like yo; I told him; I said look but she keeps or something like that and curse words. I tried to text asking who it was and I get a carrier message that says its a landline.

I found this list for Porfolio Recovery and they keep calling for someone who used to have my cell number.  I bet there are many more numbers they use.

They called my 10 yr old yesterday..called them back gave them the spill for that they apologized and SAID they removed number...then oddly this morn they called 2 of her friends that were spending the night with us on their phones....they gave me the well we r looking for someone....told her sounds to me like yall r just making random calls ..she gave me the we r a reputable company..blah blah.....I just hung up

This is a scam collection agency trying to collect on debts that have already been paid off. I received a call from a woman who said I owed a SW Bell debt of $187 from 1999 (today's date is 12/4/2014). The address they had attached to my "account" was the address I grew up at and haven't been connected to since I was 17. Once I asked for proof that they were a legit collection agency, she was quick to let me go.

I got a call from 7315774212, the caller didn't leave a message so I don't know who's calling.
