I have new Vonage service; just activated this week.I just got this call three times in a row - on my cell phone.

9 times this number has called me since 10am.  (now 1:11pm).  No messages on Voicemail, noone answeres when I pick up.

I am a new Vonage customer, porting my existing number TO vonage.  My old carrier was a cell phone company, and as of yet my number transfer is not completed.  I dont know if this means they are trying to transfer my number, and are calling my ported number in hopes to have the vonage device pick up??  

However my cell phone is the one ringing, which makes me concerned the transfer of my number is not going well.  Its already been 25 days from when I joined Vonage, still not transfer of my number.  They said it takes 7-10 days, and now just push the blame onto AT&T for not responding.

POOR customer service!  Ive called about 20 times, all Indian representatives, that speak poor English.  Im ready to cancel, and just go back to cell phones.  Luckily I have not cancelled my contract with AT&T - was waiting for the number transfer to go through.  

UGH - now Vonage is prank calling me every 20 minutes or so!

I also cancelled vonage yesterday and today I have received 9 calls from this number in the span of about 2 hours.  Very weird and annoying--thank goodness for caller id!

Well, this is disappointing!  I just received a call from this number at 6:50 AM PDT.. ugh.  We also switched from Vonage yesterday to AT&T.  It was some package deal, but the features and service don't compare, so was seriously considering going back to Vonage.  With the discovery of 'ghost calls' being generated by THEM, now I'm not so sure.  They could at least make sure their program runs in the middle of the freaking day, not before 7AM.  LAME.

I had a same problem.
Some one call me at same number but  " HOLMDEL " Name came up on my telephone screen.
I think this is junk number.

Well i cancelled Vonage for poor quality yesterday 12-10-08 and those 732-444-4661 calls started today, just 1 day later. I am going complain to the FCC.

I just got a call from this number as well. I tried to cancel my Vonage service yesterday and was talked into keeping the account for another 3 months. - I actually was very happy with their service, just don't need it anymore.

I ported my Vonage number over to Lingo. Transfer completed on Jan 8, I cancelled later the
same day. Today (Jan 9), I received a blank voice mail from this number. If this keeps happening I'll start the complaint process.

Yes i cancelled Vonage yesterday and i too got a call. Shows up as unknown caller.

Looks like Vonage hasn't fixed the problem -- if they're even trying. I got a "ghost call" from this number this afternoon. I ported my number away from Vonage 10 days ago and nobody with Vonage service has been able to reach me since then despite two calls and countless time on the phone with Vonage. Worse yet, I have my vacation home number set to forward calls to my home office. But since the vacation home has Vonage service, callers get the "phone disconnected" message -- not exactly a business booster.

Signed up for Vonage last week and have received several calls from them.  One trying to sell me service until he realized I already signed up.

This morning I got a call from 732-444-4661

cancelled vonage last nite 2/18/09 now starting to get these calls on 2/19/09. they are very sick and weird people

It took almost an act of congress for me to discontinue service with Vonage. I had verizon to port my number to my cell phone. All I got from Vonage was a lot of garbage and no help.

Ported my number away from Vonage 3 days ago. Got a call from this number today, May 3 2009. CallerID showed it was Vonage, let ring to VM, no message left. Blocking the number since it would appear Vonage has a habit of bugging former customers. Now all they will get is a busy signal. :)

I canceled Vonage effectively by porting my number to a smaller carrier with more appropriate service plans for my needs.  When the porting was complete I noticed these calls from 732-444-4661.  It is a test number to confirm call routing is correct.  It should stop when Vonage close the porting ticket.
FYI Vonage has had problems in the past with porting numbers where they did NOT update their internal routing database.  This means that calls from Vonage customers or others on the Vonage network will not connect because they will get lost in the Vonage network instead of leaving Vonage and going onto the global grid.

I cancelled my vongae connection yesterday, got blank calls from this number couple of times today.

Pretty much same story as everyone else. We cancelled Vonage about 6 days ago and we got the calls from this number day. We will see if it continues...

Ditto the other former Vonage customers. I just got this number calling with no one on the other end.
