I got this call from Vonage, I wanted to talk with them, but they were being pushy, then I said cancel it, then that was even harder, so I told them that  I was in a middle of a crisis and I could not talk to them but call back another time. The woman actually said, "sorry for taking your valuable time." in a very snotty matter. And would not get off the phone and kept saying just a minute. Meanwhile I am taking care of serious medical issues. I snapped at her and then apologized and said "Look I am dealing with a crisis, sorry for being a jerk call me another time." She kept trying to get me back to Vonage. So I hung up. I hate being a jerk like that, but literally was pushed into. I tried to cancel Vonage a while back and it was a nightmare so I had the bank stop paying them. I guess that got their attention. After reading these stories, I am thinking twice about wanting back into Vongage.
Is this legit or a scam?

I have recently been receiving the calls from this number.  Never had Vonage and never will so I am not sure how or why they call since they never leave a message -- annoying.

Google is amazing.  I get called from 732-907-2112 several times a day.  They call my work number, and my cell number. Now that I am informed, I will answer it the next time, and try to have some fun.  Whomever stated we needed to call the FTC is right.  Somebody has to stop these people.  WE live in America!  How many of us remember those days after 9/11 - not the mourning - the sense of National Pride, being an American!  If each of us, one at a time, do the right thing, all the bad things in the world will stop.  We just had a 7 year old and a 10 year old beat to death by a guy with a baseball bat, 2 days before xmas.  What is happening to our world and our country?

I screen all my calls. If AT&T knew how many numbers I have blocked you would think they would do something about it. I am on the NJ Do Not Call list. Why aren't these people being slapped with $10,000. fines? Unreal!

I got this call this morning, 11 Sept.  I can block this number because I have optimum in which their voice mail, you can block up to 15 calls, so that's what I do.  But this should be reported to the FCC.

Now the electric company scam is using this number.

Bound Brook is a town here in NJ (Somerset County).  I just got a call on my home phone from this number, and I am at work, so I did not get to answer it -- I have another carrier that has an app that shows incoming calls on my home phone to my cell.  I am on the Do Not Call Registry, and will be reporting this phone number to the FCC complain line.  I'd recommend everyone else to, as well.

I've NEVER had Vonage, and do not plan to, but it does say Vonage on my caller ID.

I just got a call from this number on my work line. I've never had Vonage and have no idea why these people would be calling. When I tried returning the call, based on the Caller ID, I just get a fast busy.

Was getting calls from this number on and off, never left a message, never picked it up. They JUST called about ten mins ago and I picked up. Asked for me by my first name and them went into a yadda yadda about collecting for kids with cancer and can they send me a donation envelope. Phone scam for sure. I got a similar call not too long ago about collecting for the PAL. I think they harvested my number through a craigslist reply.

A pleasant woman asked for my wife by her first name, but proceeded to speak with me in her absence.

The woman explained they are a charity for children with cancer and asked if they were to "...send an envelope, would I make a small donation?"

Maybe they are a charitable organization, maybe they are scammers. Judging by the variety of calls I see listed on this web page with the same "Vonage" Caller ID, I really don't trust anybody who dials me. I politely refused and she wished me a good day.

9-24-13 at 8:03pm est..I received a call from 732-907-2112 where the English speaking women said she was from Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation.  As I started to explain that I need verification of who this is...they hung up.  According to the internet, this is one of the worst charities to give to...http://www.tampabay.com/americas-worst-charit ... tion-of-america.  That's, of course, if they are even telling the truth.  Called back and got a voice mail.

Today was the first time I ever saw this number 732-907-2112. From what I have read above it seems as if most of you have or have had Vonage. I have never had Vonage services. I currently have Verizon. The number does say it is from Childrens Cancer. I did not answer it since my number is not given out to no one except my parents and my husbands parents. So most of the BS calls I get all day long are scams. I use to have Optimum and I never had calls like this before. Once we switched to Verizon it was only a matter of weeks before the phone was ringing off the hook with BS calls. I do not bother to answer them and disconnected my voicemail. Just annoying that I have to stop what I am doing just to see if its my parents or In-Laws calling.

they have called me several times in the last few weeks. Each time I tell them I want my name removed from their calling list and the person hangs up on me.  I researched this organization online and this number is not associated with it according to their website.

I have gotten calls from this same number and it identifies as Chuldrens Cancer.

Got this phone call today early this morning for the first (and I hope last time).  I did not answer it despite the ID of Children's Cancer.
