Faites attention avec ces gens la, la madame qui telephone (probablement Dominicaine) m'a demandé pour mes renseignments bancaires, NE PAS DONNER AUCUN INFORMATION SVP a cette personne, raccroche le telephone et contactez a votre institution bancaire le plus vite possible.

I received 2 phone calls, one on Thurs. Sept 4 and one on Fri sept.5.  I couldn't understand the woman the first time, although I know enough to know she was Dominican.  She asked me if I spoke Spanish, when I said no she hung up quite frustrated.  THe second call was from a Spanish speaking man who wanted to speak to my husband, then settled for me.  He began to ask about confirming my address, I refused to tell him and he became more forceful.  I then told him I could not understand everything he was saying and I told him that I would not give him any info. until he got me an English speaking person.  I said he would, then I was disconnected.  Be very careful - It is definitely fraud and probably resulted from the use of my credit card when on vacation in California in the spring of 2007.  The area code 752 comes from the West San Bernardino and/or East Los Angeles area.

Received call from this number on September 10, 2008, Spanish speaking lady asking from my routing number on bottom of my checks.  Fraud, just learned that an employee (former employee) from my Morgage Company (CountryWide) may have stolen and sold unauthorized personal information to a third party.  May want to report this number to Federal Trade Commission.

I got a call from a Spanish speaking individual asking me if I spoke Spanish in terrible English.  I own my own business, so I got this call at work.  They asked me if it was xyz business and I replied "Yes".  I asked where they were calling from and they said something about insurance.  I told them that I already had insurance and that I had just made my payment.  From what I could make out, they asked me why it showed that I hadn't made my payment.  It was the third or fourth call that I received from them.  I told them that I didn't have anything to do with them since I had Farmer's and that I knew they had cashed my check.  They apologized and that was the end of the call.  I am not sure, but I think they are a fradualent bunch prying on Spanish speaking minorities.  I hope there are enough complaints to have them investigated and punished.

I just received this # 752-988-9966 call to my cell phone at 9am PT and did not answer. I was on another call anyway, but thought I would at least look up the area code and found this site instead. Can't even find the area code and where it came from, but if someone else here says Mexico, then maybe that is why I can't find it....

On October 9th 2008 we received two calls from the same number at around 6:47 pm on a thursday afternoon. I only answered the second call, and a woman asked for one of residents in my home. She spoke in spanish, and very quickly, so i only heard her say "soy lisenciada .....". I could not tell what her name after "lisenciada. I asked her if she wanted to leave a message right after she said this, she hung up. I was confused about this number, so i tried calling back, but the call did not go through, as the number does not exist or is legit. I then looked up the area code, and found out that it came from California. Now that i have heard all of these stories, i'm quite frightened about my accounts. I will report this soon.

I just received this call today (10/10/08) at 10:42 PM. My caller ID says that is from California. She asked for me saying my full name, and i said thit is was me, she said her name and the company really fast, all i understood was ID service, then i told her, what can i do for you, she said i need to verify your identity and quickly asked if i lived in my address (she had the correct one), i told her, i will not answer any questions until i spoke to my lawyer, to give me a call back number and her name, she said her name fast and i insisted that she repeat it, she did-Jahaira Contreras, and made her tell me the company name again, she said fast but i was able to catch, Merchant ID Services, and the number 877-200-6094. I have not gone to California, nor have i used my credit card there. To add, she spoke in fluent spanish all the time, and like the other comments, she indeed sounded Dominican (I'm Dominican myself, so i perfectly know the accent)The reason i mentioned my lawyer is because i'm fighting a case in this moment, and that is what my lawyer asked me to do and say. I then decided to research the number and the company name. Well there is no company with that name, and the 877 number she gave me does not exist. After reading all the comments, i'm scared now, she had my fullname and my correct address, were the @#@# did they get that information, i'm always so careful!!!!! THis fustrating

I just called the 1877 number that Jahaira Contreras gave me, and i got an answer machine of a male voice that says -This is xxxxxxx we are not here right now, please leave your message and we will call you back" In english (sounds like an African American Male), not in Spanish, the name is said too fast, so i could not understand it, i also called back the 752 number, and the operator said the call could not be completed as dialed.

had the same lady call my parents and spoke to them in spanish, what was surprising is that she claimed to represent the Bank of Canada and that they required verification of my parents bank accounts so as to ensure that no accounts were over the limit of $60,000 anything over and due to the economic crisis they could lose that amount, my father advised he would not do this over the phone and she then stated his bank accounts he currently has which alarmed him, when she was asked what company she is from, she spoke so fast that he had her repeat herself twice and he still could not get the name, she continued to request verification and my father stated to forward her request in writing and he would then check to see if her information was correct, she mumbled something and hanged up........by the accent it was prevalent she was cubana

Got a call today asking for private banking information and what banks we use.  They seemed to know my personal accounts where in a specific bank... I hung up, they called back and asked for my mom, she told them to go to hell.  They called back and asked for my dad....

Is there anything I can do?  should I be worrried.

My mother got a call from a spanish speaking woman asking for me.  I move out of my mothers house years ago.  The rep said she was a lawyer and needed info about me.  my mother haged up!  my old lady is pretty smart.
Her name she said was "Licensiada Virginia".

Beware they are still at the game looking for PIN# information about your checking account. They seem to know a lot about your personal information. Where they get it from I don't know, but do call your bank right away so that they can make a note against your account so that no money can be taken and also they should give you a number for the fraud line to report this.

Anyone receiving calls from this number please call the O.P.P. Telephone Fraud Busters so that they can stop this person or persons
