I received a call from this number today June 10, 2009 asking for personal information.

scam! they call me Puerto Rican accent, female from insurance department, need to confirm my business address; that she was from shipping facility and had a package for me, to be delivered at my address. known that this is scam a gave her false information, and play with her in the phone she star getting nerves and confuse her self, but she docent work her self there is a group of people trying to still from innocent people be aware.

On july 6th I received a phone from this number. They spoke to me in spanish and requested to speak with . The woman was offering me a Credit Protection Plan for my Visa. I asked her, "what visa?" She stated, "the one from your bank.". I asked, "what bank?" and she said, "Bank Of America".I told her that i did not have an account with that bank and she hung up. I then called Bank of America and asked them if I had an opened account with them. I explain to them the unsual phone call and they transferred my call to a Fraud Specialist. Fortunately, an account was not issued under my name. I dont understand what is going on...

seems fraudulent... beware..... called saying they were going to send an agent from my company's insurance company, i asked her what was the name of my insurance company and she said "farmers" i said no i don't have a policy with them and she hang up...... if all this postings regarding the same number with the same lady with accent are on the internet why isn't she stopped????????

Received two calls from this number.  Did not answer.  Did not leave message.

just got the call and no one said hello on the line. There was background conversation in Spanish. Idiots called a law firm. Junk calls! If you see the number hang up, but make sure you write down the times they called so you can file a complaint with the FCC and FTC. Eventually these scumbags will get caught.

They called my house at 4:48am, August 28, 2009. I answered the phone and all I could hear was spanish conversations in the background. "Hello", no response. "Hello!", still no response, then the just hung up. I tired looking online to see who this number belongs to and found this site. This is a scam!!

Man this people need to get a life...they call and call and say the same things..i bet you anything that this site is theirs too...just so they can see what people say about them......but be careful with this low life people.......

SCAM!!!
1. Pushy mumbling individual talking non-stop from a public phone (he told me he was in the office but you could tell it was a public area), barely audible
2. Calling me from "Merchant Services" and wanted to verify my insurance per my office out of Miami; repeatedly asked me who I was and I would not tell him, but he had my office address and name (wrong last name), may have gotten it from public records or any advertising
3. Because he talked non-stop and mumbling (surely on purpose) I told him I did NOT understand what he was saying because of background noise, asked for company address and number
4. After a few tries, he said "Merchant Services PO Box 106 Miami" with a number 877-613-7981 (when you call you get a cheap recording and pressing for English or Spanish will get you a "Goodby" and a hangup)
5. He stated he was sending documents for the insurance a certain area; when I asked him which address, he gave me the office address (not applicable)
6. THIS HAS TO BE A SCAM--THEY GET AS MUCH INFO FROM YOU BASED ON PUBLIC RECORDS AND WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE THEY WILL DO.  BEWARE!!! FAST TALKING, CONFUSING CALLER WILL NOT LET YOUR BRAIN ENGAGE: STOP, GET HIS NAME AND NUMBER AND TELL HIM YOU WILL CALL BACK!

This is a fraud. They stole over $200 from my mother telling her that the were an insurance company, they insure the equipment in her company. They speak in fluent spanish. They have called for over a year. Today my mother tried to pass the phone to me and they hung up.

Someone called me from this number today in Spanish telling me he was from my bank and to advise me that all my bills paid via bank transfer where paid for and I did not owe anything.  I told him I did not understand and he repeated himself.  I went on to tell him that I had no clue what he was talking about and that I was not a client of his and he hanged up.  Complete FRAUD.  Do not pick up the phone if this scum bag calls. Call came in at about noon (US Eastern Standard Time) on Feb. 9, 2010.

Got a call today 2-26-2010

Same here, today March 3 2010 he called shouting at us in spanish that we gave our insurance company false info and wanted us to confirm acc numbers and other info... We called our bank and reported it to the police.

Got a call from 752-988-9966 Caller spoke spanish and asked for my wife,using her last name only.
I said I was her husband and if I could be of help.She hung up.

They called my Mom twice, the second time I was home so she gave me the phone. I asked the "obvious dominican accent" man. For the name of this co. he said ID THEFT, then I asked for a phone number, he gave 800 417-2030. i told him I would call him back after I investigated them and hung up before he could say a word.

The business name is bogus and so is the #. Total scam. Report this to your local authorities.

I do too receive phone calls from various numbers but with the same purpose; Asking to verify certain information over the phone. Personally I think that we should keep posting up our complaints here, now that it seems like there is a dedicated website for these kinds of frauds. I really don't know how long this has been going on for and don't know when it's going to stop. What we can do, like I said before, is keep posting our complaints in forums like this. The donotcallregistry is useless because up until this day they keep calling eventhough I've been on the registry for a while now. You can tell if money was taken from you if you see weird companies on your bank statements with weird withdrawals. For example, be on the lookout for things like Metropolitan Benefits guia411.com 99.95 withdrawal and Merchant Autopay Services 111.89. You know, things that you've never purchased from before. I've tried to come up with a way to make this public and national, but I think that this is actually the way to go, by keeping up our complaints and maybe someday someone will publish this where it needs to go. Keep in mind, don't give out your personal information and we need everyones cooperation to help raise awareness.
