this number keeps calling my work and cell . It is crazy . I wont even call them back my boss said the same

I know this is a scam, it's been going on for about 3 years, it's alway done from different number. Telling u u will be arrested if u don't pay the debt. What it is is someone from Iran that has hacked into banks an cash advance company, gets your information calls and harrassrs u. If they keep u on long enough they tag your number and use it to call the next person, leaving u the bill. Attorney general of Illinois said CIA and FBI tried to stop it but because he from Iran it out of their jursdiciatin. Just ignore them

I have been receiving calls since last week from different numbers same person with an accent seriously, they have a scam going.I had a another unreated issue with my bank,  I don't know how they got my information and routing number to my bank but I shut my account down and open with a new number.
The caller keeps telling me Im approved for a loan when I refused hes  get upset and I tell STOP calling me then. I also reported the Secret Shopper emails I keep getting offering me a job, with 200.00 paid commission to go shopping and complete a survey,   Report them to ( IC3.gov.com)

yeah I have received several calls from this number. so i finally answer and i get the same as was mentioned above. he had the last 4 of my social though! i checked my bank account and nothing has been deposited but i did see a withdraw of about $30 that I am about to call my bank about. when i told the guy i never received any EFT he said not to interrupt him and to wait for the sherriff and hung up on me. i called back several times but no answer. there was a beep, so i left a message. i told him that he WILL be hearing from my attorney because he was apparently trying to defraud me. that's when i looked at my bank account and then googled the number, expecting pretty much what i am seeing here on this page.

I have been getting calls from the same number for the past 3 days. My wife picked up the call and they said that some one used our phone number and commited some check fraud and asked to call the same number they called and asked us to get a lawyer to remove our name from the calling list. My wife hang up on them but they called again and somehow got out last name from my wife. Now they call us from a different number 8709950663 telling that we have a pending case which needs immediate action. This time I was at home and thrashed them badly. I have not received any calls from there yet  ...

I got a call from this number...  But there was nothing on the other end, I stayed on for 3 mins and not even the sound of a disconnect, it was just dead silence.  This occurred at 6am my time.  Number comes back as:

My cell is a lifeline phone.  As such, it has no personal information or identifying data they could get.  But I will try to contact them later using my internet phone (which has a NJ number and I live in Alaska... lol

Received 6 calls one right after another within a 2 minute period.  NO message left this time around, but earlier in the day, received 2 other calls within 2 minutes and left threaten voicemessage stating "I need to call IMMEDIATELY, OR HAVE MY ATTORNEY CALL IMMEDIATELY, no further information was left as to why.

But it seems it is a SCAM, as I am a victum of ID theft and have has several online payday loans taken out in my name, so this is probably related to that.  But this is not the first time, they called my former place of business as well

Whenever I get these types of calls, I reverse the strategy on them. It may take more tan one cal but they get the idea and stop. First I call the number back and statrt asking questions very nicely. Such as waht is your name again, what company is this (they never want to say but may if you keep innocently asking), Keep calling them back if they hang up, which they will. I finally got a "receptionist" and when I questioned her she got angry, called me a [***] and hung up. Of course I was not too happy about this so I figured game on. So I dedcided to call back as many times as possible. After the first few times, she stated putting me thru to the guys extension. Cool. So I left lengthy messages letting him/them know I know had enough information on them that I was reporting them to every agency I could find Also ON MANY OF MY MESSAGES I TOLD THEM TO never CALL MY NUMBER AGAIN. oN SOME MSGS i SAID NOTHING JUST SET THE PHONWE DOWN AND LEFT IT UNTIL HIS VOICE MAIL WENT TO THE END. Ijust kept calling back and maybe saying nothing on the recording. I figured I could blow up the guys voice mail and give the receptionist something to do transferring my calls thru. I did this for a couple three days for maybe 30 minutes to an hour at a time, depending on time I had to spend. Needless to say I never heard from them again on any of the numbers they had used to call me.
IT IS WORTH TAKING AN HOUR OR SO TO REVERSE THE PROCESS ON THEM.

I just received a call from this same number.  When the man came on the line he asked me for my attorneys name and number.  I asked him to tellyou me what this was regarding and that then I wod.provide personal information.  He said "why should I tell you if you won't tell me?" And hung up on me.  Each time I.called back after that, I either just got a beep as others have described or bung up on.  This is definitely not a legit company.

Those guys Ben calling mi I don't understand there ingles I ask 4 some to speak real good ingles but there Indians they keep saying they send the police becouse of a fraud I don't understand them but they calling mi all day long

Received a call on 10/12/2012 (760-483-3761) at my work and I work for the Miami, AZ, Police Dept and he told us that he was from the State Attorney's Office. And he asked for me to call him back. This is a scam caller. Don't return the calls.

I received a call (760-483-3761) at my work and I work at the Miami, AZ Police Dept. from a Frank Martin saying he was from the State Attorney Office and for me to call him back. The phone just beep then went blank. After looking at all of these people these guys are trying to scam. I turned them into the State Attorney General Fraud Dept on Arizona. Remember I work at the Miami, AZ Police Dept with our own fraud dept that is checking on this number with the help of the police dept there. So we have their number and address and they will be going to there and bust them for fraud.

The guy kept asking me if I have a lawyer. I asked what business is that of yours? Kepttelling me of some lawsuit against me but could not tell me who sued me or what it's for. I told where he could go.

These idiots call me everyday i finally answer and i get someone who can't speak a bit of english i tried to receive info from the lady whom i was speaking with she couldn't answer any of my questions the only thing she kept saying was i have criminal charges against me they even took it as far as calling my mother in New Jersey  leaving messages stating this nonsense upsetting my mom she"s calling me asking what did i do i google the number while she was on the phone to find out that it was a scam call i'm sick of dealing with people and i want them to stop calling me and never to call my mom again!!!!!!!

I received an email from the HR department at work stating that a Frank Martin from the Attorney General's Office was trying to reach me and to return his call. I tried to contact this person for 2 days straight. The phone would just ring and then beep at the end. I was extremely nervous because I had no idea why I would be receiving a call from the "Attorney General's Office". So I decided to find out who it was truly from and typed the number on google and came across many other innocent people who has went through something simliar. I was shocked to see how many people have been scammed by these criminals.

So, Sean Miller called me this morning, and Sean Miller had the thickest mid eastern accent I have ever heard.  He told me that I or my attorney to call them back, so I did and some other heavily accented individual with an American name kept asking me if I was Darren, and I was asking where they were calling from. He finally told me the States Attorney's office, so I asked which state, and he wouldn't answer my question.  He basically got fed up with me for not telling him who I was and told me that he who I was and that the Sheriff's Dept. will pick me up at my work today.  He hung up on me and I called back about 3 times and there was no answer or all I heard was a beep.  Basically, these people are full of sh*t, and if you are ever contacted by the State's Attorney's office, it's by mail or certified letter.  These middle eastern people are a complete scam, and my advice is that you just don't answer the phone, and block it from calling you.
