Why is this firm not shut down? I got an annoying call from a woman who wouldn't tell me anything (city accent - as other posters have noted). I have absolutely no debts and this just has scam written all over it. how disgusting

4-27-11 Got a call asking if I knew (my neighbor's name) and if I would take a message.
I refused saying if they didn't know how to reach her, I wasn't going to take a message.
The lady was polite, however.

They called me several times attempting to collect a deb that I am currently paying on (Even called the bank and they have told me that I have never been late and it hasn't been turned over to credit company yet)  ... Want this to stop....

Received a call from 877-867-9201 claiming to be Budzik and Dynia LLC. debt collectors. I spoke to Yolanda and she insisted I owed a credit debt to L V N V Funding in South Carolina. I insisted I never had a Master Card with this company and never heard of them. She insisted back that I did and I was yelling trying to get her to understand I did not have the same first name as the person she was trying to contact. Finally I insisted on knowing the Soc Security # on account and the last four were not mine. She turned call over to her co-worker Sean Powell who proceeded to argue and I responded in kind. He insisted I talked to them in 2008 about this matter according to his records. Again I had to resort to yelling to drive home my point that I am not the person they want. I don't live in the same area and the first name is different and the Social Security number is different. I told him I did not appreciate being harrassed and would be reporting Budzik and Dynia LLC to the Bar Association. Mr. Powell tried to justify calling me by stating maybe I knew the person or was related to them. I tried again to explain I do not even know this person. Mr. Powell then could not get off the phone fast enough. He said I would not be contacted again since I am not the correct person. I wanted an assurance but was not going to provide my info to him. Guess I will need to notify State Attorneys General to make sure I am left alone. Skip tracers need to be more careful. I looked the person up in the White Pages online and found her in about 2 minutes. Correct spelling and address. Maybe I should send them a bill.

My phone rings from this number sometimes 5-6 times a day.  The number belongs to the law firm of Budzik Dynia out of Chicago.  Just received one from last name, Garcia, who was rude and nasty.  I, of course, was "not home" and my friend answered the phone.  When Garcia asked who was handling my affairs and I responded "no one" she/he got even more rude.  I know this firm represents Bank of America, which goes to show you what a disreputable firm it is to begin with, but this constant calling at all hours of the day and night is unconscionable.  I will use the fax number to send a "cease and desist" letter to Israel Garcia, head attorney and hopefully these harrassing calls will stop.  Like one of the writers above said, if there was in fact a case, it would have been in court a long time ago.  I'm now getting letters in the mail too!!  I was given an 800 number to return the call.

"Jamie" from "Budzik and dynia" called at 9:40 A.M on behalf of an attorneys office. He called from  telephone number 224-267-1585 BUT asked for a return phone call to telephone number 773-902-1103 ext.51. I am to believe that it was a debt collector after what I have read here and the rest of google.

Budzik and Dynia call my home everyday all day long. I have never recieved anything in the mail from this so called "law firm" and the calls have started about 3 months ago. I have no credit card debit and my medical debt I keep track of. I filed for bankruptcy back in 2009 and it was discharged in 2010. So I am guessing they are trying to collect on a old debt that has been discharge. I think it is time for me to send a cease and desist letter, but where do I send it to??

Whenever his firm violates the FDCPA or any other law, let's send in complaints about their conduct to the IARDC which governs this guy's license to practice law.  If he is going to bother us, let's fight back with legitimate complaints about his firm if it violates the law.  He is responsible for the conduct of the people that he employs.  See https://www.iardc.org/htr_filingarequest.html#2

So, on top of hitting him with a FDCPA lawsuit, go after his license to practice law.  If we complain enough, the state is going to have to do something.

this company started calling me about a week ago at 3-4 times a day---i cant see a reputable law firm bothering people that much. i do not answer them,but they called my son's phone while he was in dialysis ,saying someone named john was looking for me. i quit credit cards years ago when they started charging 95 bucks before you could use them,then 85 a month regaurdless of useage..so my 300 card went to 800 and i said enough !!!as the other gent said,old debts bought out to try to collect on. i wont answer,they can mail me a notice.

Called, name was venessa asking for my wife , i ask who she was and she asked for birth date of wife.
 She is a collection agency. don't asnwer if you owe money.
My chapter 7 toke me about 2 hours of computer online course, 1,500 aturney fees, and 10 minutes in court. Try to pick a law firm that has always done bankrupcies, after 10 min or less in court I am free two months later i have a platinum card with 0% interest. no joke

They called me. I dodn't know who thy were and did not think anything of it. I just found out toay they did and unauthorized credit check on my record, which lowered my rating. Lets see if they answer my attoneys phone call.

THEY ALSO DID THIS IN MEXICO. WORKING WITH BUDZIK AND DYNIA IS FAR BY THE WORS WORK EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD! THEY DONT FOLLOW THE FDCPA AND OTHER LAWS AND VIOLATED A LOT OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND LABOR RIGTHS IN THE SAID COUNTRY. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS PRE-LEGAL STATUS WE ARE JUST USING THAT TO SCARE OFF DEBTORS TO PAY.!!! DO NOT PAY THEM !! THEY ARE JUST DEBT COLLECTORS!! I got a few calls from this person calling herself Rowanda, she said she was from the lawfirm of Budzik & Dynia, and she was calling about an old BoA credit account. She calls about 8 times a day trying to get me to talk to her and resolve this issue, which we all know is BS. She has gone so far as to contact my neighbor to get me to call her, can you believe it? I am now seeking my own legal representitive to sue them for Harassment, and Libel. You cannot talk to neighbors and spread false information, or any information at all for  that sake. This definately falls under Harassment and Slander, and that is a valid law suit.

I got a call from Budzik & Dynia saying that I owed a GE Money Bank /PayPal MC     GE Money Bank / Paypal opened up an account in my name several years ago and even after I called to close the account, some one was charging on it..  Last year I got a letter from GEMB / PAYPal saying that the debt was charged off as they had allowed someone to charge on the account even after it had been closed.  

So this B&D calls and says that I owe and I tell them that it was charged off and closed last year, Kimberly Miles tells me that GEMB never charged off, except that when I look at my Credit Report is shows that it was.  

I will not be answering the phone any longer and will not pay this "debt".

These people have called my mother and wife about my mother in law's supposed debt.  They made the mistake of calling me tonight.  I used to work in law enforcement in Iowa.  I let them know it is against the law to harass debtors in the state if Iowa, and asked why they don't just call my mom in law...she got real quiet and ended the call.  I am going to report them to the Iowa Atty General tomorrow.

I have receive numerous of calls from this number. I have recieve maybe two messages out of the numerous of calls. Stating that I need to call them and regards to outstanding debt. Not stating what debt, just that I have an outstanding debt. Mind you I have not receive anything in the mail stating that I have an outstanding debt of any. So to me this call is a fraud and I will not entertain this call at all. If I owe money send me a bill, because according to my records all my bills are paid on time all the time and I have no outstanding debt that I am ignoring.

The caller name was Jamie Feria calling from 773-902-1130 x51 asked to speak to my neighbor and my neighbor doesn't live with me at all. I just found it strange for someone to be calling me about my neighbor and they stating they know I live next door to my neighbor. If at all possible I can give out my neighbor's information which is an invasion of their privacy.
