I am now forwarding all the calls to the Police Dept in my town so let's see what happens as the Police will be able to pick up the Caller ID and maybe they will get tired of these phone calls.
I think if all of you did this, we may put a stop to this harassment.

They called me at approx. 6:00 pm on Jan. 28, 2009 asking me for my husband.  When I said he wasn't home and asked if I could take a message they said no they would call back later.  The guy sounded to be in his 20's.

I am so tired of these calls!!! I do not have any over due debt and I am on several of these call lists and get 3-4 calls a day. Please someone tell me how to stop this!!!!!

These jerks call at least 3-4 times a week and when I call back they say they're looking for someone with a different first name.  They have promised 6 times to take me off the call list, and last time they even gave me the supervisor's "private number" where I left a strong message to take my number off the call list.  Impossible to get rid of them.  What can we do to get these people to stop calling.

There ought to be severe penalties and punishment for these scam artists. They call pretending to collect a debt, never stay on the line long enough for you to answer (answering activates their recorded message so they don't want a conversation).  I'm starting to wonder if it's one of those scams where if you call back it triggers some kind of payment to them?  The people I've talked to are, quite frankly, obtuse - not big time smart people.  I'll be talking to our Attorney General about this matter at my next opportunity.  They use a series of numbers from 1501-1502, etc.

Alleid Interstate keep calling about a debt, the person that they said they're looking doesn't exist at my residence and we told them that.In return they were supposed to stop harrasing us, but the haven't. How do I get them to stop!!!!!

These people have been harassing our family for over 2 years now, I can set my clock to there calls, every damn day 3x a day, to the minute,the Pitts about this, they are asking for someone that doesn't live here, never did.
I, and my wife have repeatedly informed '[Allied Interstate, AKA - NCO Finance ]that these people they are looking for are not here and never was.

They just don't get it.

Now its freaking blocked calls, repeatedly again!

I contacted the FBI Wash. Office made my complaints

I would suggest anyone being harassed by this collection clowns, call, even forward your calls to FBI at 202-324-3000

Do this and the unwanted calls will stop.

These people are relentless, they call every day 24/7 on the minute, you can set your clock to their calls.
When I answered, they are looking for a Jack, not Brian. I and my wife repeatedly told these unfriendly fools not to call, they never lived here.
They just didn't get it till the FBI has been involved.

If you people still are still harassed by Allied Interstate aka NCO Finance do please call 202 324 3000 FBI WA. DC Office. Put your tax money to work!

they have called me four times in the last 24 hours and its always a recorded message saying to stay on the line for an important phone call. i have no debts so this is completely boggus.

Called my cell phone, so there was no caller ID.  They didn't leave a message.  I googled the number and founf this website.I have no outstanding debts, so if they keep calling I will report to more agencies.

these idiots are debt collectors.we have little debt nothing behind.have called10 to 15 timses aday for someone who had this number before us.lady pay your bills. this is pure harrasment.have been nice and been rude,nothing works with these pinheads. even said i was lying when i told them that person didnt live here and didnt know her. even called on thanksgiving day.am going to report them.

For the past week, I have been harrassed by Allied Interstate (debt collection agency).  They say I am delinquent on my Sprint cell phone bill.  I do not use Sprint and am not delinquent on any account.  Today I spoke with the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Protection Agency.  The more complaints the FTC gets, the more action will be taken.  With the Consumer Protection Agency, they directed me to ncdoj.gov (I live in North Carolina i.e. nc) to file a complaint online.  Just insert your state initials before doj.gov to bring up site.  The Consumer Protection Agency will investigate on the Complaint's behalf to STOP the harrassment.  It may take up to a few months. Let's do what we can to stop these dreadful people from disrupting our lives.

They call me, asking for my name, telling me I have a collection with SPRINT..... the problem is.... I do not have any telephone bill with this guys...!!!

received a message from this allied interstate, however i have no debt.  i asked what company is this and why are you calling me at work?  there was only silence and they asked for my name and work number.  very crazy.

These guys called me over the course of two months each and every day for a debt that belonged to some one else. What they have is some type of auto-dialer which calls your number and leaves a vague message. My question is: if they're looking for a person, wouldn't they ask for said person to call them back. I never called them because I assumed it was the "warranty" scam which was going around, but when I finally got mad enough to look up their number I was livid. They called me at least 30 times to talk to a person I've never heard of. What a huge waste of my time and their time. Jerks! If you have the stomach, call them back and give them and earful

They called twice once on June 10 and then again on June 17 both times they did not say anything and just hung up.

I actually have an account with Sprint- they have easily called me 15 times in the last month.  I never answer and am surprised they keep calling.  They THINK I have a debt but I do not.  So I suppose it makes sense they are calling me.  I say this because I bet a lot of other people probably have some sort of debt that they are just not aware of...And of course it needs to be said that debt collection companies suck ass, debt or not.

I just register their number in my phone as DNA and never pick up...No big deal
