Gat a call from this # have no clue who it was

"Missed" call from this number on 2/7/09 at 11:01AM CST.

I got the same call at 12:07 pm on Feb 8th. It was a missed call, with no message.

the area code is north lake tahoe nevada/reno/carson city area, i missed the call and i used to live in that area, recognized the area code but not the number and made the mistake of calling it back to see if it was someone i knew. now i keep getting mumbo jumbo calls from the number

This is disgusting that a robo call is made using this number on my cell phone.

I just received a call on my cell from 775-562-0197 and it was some message in Spanish, then the call just ended. I was going to mess with them, but it sounded like a recording and then the phone hung up.

rec'd call 11:59am - did not answer. After seeing what all have written on this site, I did return call. Recording did say if was type of travel thing and the hit 1 to be taken off list in 48 hrs after you enter your phone #

the 775 number called me at 1245pm i live in northern virginia. i speak spanish and quickly realized it was a scam. i called back and the robot was in english. it told me to press 1 to get my number removed from there calling list and then i entered my number (so they could remove it) and it said "we apologize for any inconvenience" and i hung up.

Get calls from this number randomly.  Fortunately, I dont answer unknown calls or numbers I dont recognize so I just rejected the call.  I figure if it's someone important they'll leave a message and these people never do.  Thanks for all the info.  I find it quite interesting.

Just got a call on my cell but was dialing another number when it happened and I hung up on it. Just came to check here to see who it was.  I never give out my cell phone number so don't know how they got it.

I missed most of the message as I was fumbling to get it on speakerphone, but I did hear parts (in Spanish) to press number 1 and it ended with "dinero" (money), waited about 3 seconds, and disconnected.

(PS - I posted this on 800notes.com - their form is identicalm, but these lists are different - are they the same host, and should I double post, or use that for toll-free and this for NPA #s?)
