Pre-recording of an "exclusive" offer only for Telus Mobility customers, of 3000 travel miles. The usual scam call.  Prefix is a SHAW TELECOM prefix in Port Alberni, BC, but comes up as "number not in service" when you try to call it back.  Obviously some number spoofing from a boilerplate call centre

I am a Telus customer, and I have just received this call as well. I did not bother picking up, since I don't know anyone in British Columbia, and no message was left.

I assume there was a yet another leak of certain Telus Mobility client phone numbers, which will now be used one by one in hope of scamming unsuspecting, trusting people.

That's the age of technology for you people.

Please stay vigilant, and use common sense.
There is no shortage of low-lives in this world, beleive you me.

I just got the call about 5 mins ago. i didn't hear what company they said, but i hope that's the end of it.

Got a call 5 minutes ago. Hung up before I answered, no message left.

I just got a call from it as well. It said "We're calling from (something I couldn't hear) you're eligible for 3000 travel dollars. Press 1 now to accept." it sounds like a scam so I hung up. I dialled the number back and got a recording saying that the number had not been assigned.

Wow seems like everyone is getting these. I just got a call from this number and just like people before me, I looked up the number on Google and got this. Luckily I missed it while I was at work.

I hope the RCMP stops these calls from reoccurring.....

I just got the same call a few seconds a go on my cell phone.  Don't know anyone in BC with that number, so I looked it up and found this.. weird..

The call ID said British Columbia, the area code was not. I did not answer and there was no msg. I have an unlisted "solo" mobile phone. I'm not a canadian tire, telus, or rogers customer.

Just got one here to. Didn't answer because I didn't know the number or the area code. Googled and got here. Rogers customer in Nova Scotia.

I got this call just a few minutes ago. It said something like "Because you are a valued Fido customer, you are receiving $3,000 travel dollars. Press 1 to accept." and I hung up. I'm actually with Virgin Mobile but my number used to be with Fido, so obviously their computers just recognize it as a number that would've originated from Fido. It also pronounced Fido as "Fee-do".

Received call from 7784212664. Searched internet while ringing and landed here. Elected to NOT answer based on history. Should not have received a call on the private number they called (no one has the number; testing phone for software which is not used for calling/calls). Logging here as date/time  reference for activity.

Just got a call. Same number. Answered and no one spoke. After a few seconds, I just hung up, googled the number and found this too.
