Received call at 9pm. Didn't answer as was on phone with friend at time.

I have received this call twice in the past month.  I suggest everyone registers their number(s) with the Canadian National Do Not Call List (DNLC) at https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/insnum-regnum-eng

These annoying companies can get a hefty fine if you are registered to the DNLC.

Answered the call, pressed 1 and got $3000

what is the reason for this call?

Called my cell phone and didn't leave any message.

I also got the phone from this number . I hope it is fake and may be misleading number

Same as everyone else. Let the call go to voicemail, partial voice message left saying "... Press 1 to accept."

Attention Rogers Customers: Public Service Announcement

Rogers has recently received telephone inquiries from some of its customers about a telemarketing offer that identifies them as a Rogers customer who is eligible for a travel reward.

These calls are not coming from Rogers and we are not a partner of this company. We advise anyone who receives such a call to hang up. If you have received a call and have provided personal information, please contact your local police.

Customers report answering a phone call to hear an automated message: "Hello, because you are a valued Rogers customer you will receive 3,000 travel dollars. To accept press 1." Any customer who presses 1 is connected to a representative who identifies themselves from a company that is a partner of Rogers.

Again, these calls are not coming from Rogers and we are not a partner of this company.

This company is located outside of Canada and as a result the "National Do not Call List" does not apply to them.

I just received an automated message from 778 421 2664 saying that because I'm a valued Rogers customer I'm being offered 3000 travel miles, "press 1 to accept".

I then hung up.

I got the same call from this number. If your plan include call display, you program this number
in your cell phone as SpamCall. When they call you it will display SpamCall. Don't pickup.

Called, left a blank message.  Number should be disconnected.

lol, this number called my cell and my dad's cell. neither of us answered. damn tele-bots.

Received this call today July 16th...the recorded message stated "as a valuable Bell customer you are entitled to receive $3000 travel dollars...press 1 to accept...I DON"T THINK SO!!!!

There is a customer advisor on the Rogers site about the $3000 scam. The company is outside Canada and nothing can be done.

so i got the same call saying that i was a valued telus customer blah blah blah...i accepted so that i could get them to remove my number and some guy said congrats then hung up on me....i called telus to see if they give out numbers and they said NO they do not, and that if it was a promotion from them they usually send a text or an email.....so this happened on my cellphone at 7pm alberta time......now at 7:35pm alberta time i get a call on my f*ckin house saying that there is a great promotion from bell.....when i told the guy i was not interested and to remove my number he asked why...i said bc bell is crap and i don't want anything from them...he kept persiting to the point i hung up on him....why can't telemarketers just get the hint when you say remove the number you called and just do it instead of arguing....it isn't my first time in confrontation with telemarketers as my last one called my house 4 times after i told him to remove my number and he said no then told me to suck his d*ck and i'll suck it good....like what is with some people these days???

on another note....i register all 3 of my numbers on the NDNCL at least once a month for the past 2 years and still i continue to receive the god damn calls!!! What is the point of the NDNCL if telemarketers still call!! What a load of sh*t

This same phone number called me yesterday and did not leave a msg.  I called it back and the operator machine said it was not an assigned number. wtf?!

...the person wasn't a telemarketer, he was a criminal trying to defraud you.  Hence not taking a hint and being abusive to you.
