Now it's leaving a recorded message on my cellphone about some sort of survey time has expired.
Like... who bloody cares !

I received a call from this number in Gatineau on November 9, I picked up and decided to record the call. Call went "Congratulations, you've been selected to receive a free cruise for two to the Bahamas. That's right, you'll receive a free cruise for two to Nassau, Bahamas. All you have to do, is answer a short survey. Press one (1) to accept your prize, or press two (2) to decline this offer and be removed from our calling list." Having decided to attempt to identify the caller, I selected the first option. There was silence on the line as I heard a person breathing on the line, then the line went dead.

I'm unsure who exactly is responsible for this operation, but a police trace on the line revealed the number is assigned to a prepaid cell phone purchased in Vancouver and activated on November 2nd. My best guess, is that this number is a part of some kind of large scam operated out of the Vancouver area. If you receive a call from this number, my advice is to record the conversation, and contact the RCMP/GRC or your local police service.

This number called my phone at 5:43pm Atlantic time (I'm in Halifax, NS) Rang only for a second or two. Also had a +7 786 543240 within a minute of it.

Just received this call. Did not answer. I am really tired of those !! Would love to kick them in the [***] !

Got a call 5 hrs ago 778-654-3240 while phone was recharging so didn't pickup.  Then I got 2 "unknown" calls 3 hrs ago.  Thank you for this website.  I won't call them back.

Received a call 4hrs ago on my cell phone. Didn't recognise the number so didn't call back.

I also received a few calls from this number so this time decided to call back. There was a prerecorded voice of a woman who said it is for completion of a survey but the time has expired but no mention of the company. So there you have it, another pain in the a$$ survey company adding valuable minutes to unsuspected cell phone users accounts.

I am on the "do not call" registry - active (I checked) but still getting these calls. Problem is, I have to pay for incoming calls on my cell phone... it's not just the annoyance, it's also the cost...
