mine message from this number was to claim a $100 gift card

Yesterday I received two junk text messages from 77893 on my cell phone within a span of two hours--one for www.CreditNow101.com and the other for www.MyCash1500.com.  I text'ed back STOP and received another text saying, "This message confirms that you are unsubscribed from all services."  they called their irresponsible spam "services"?  They have no shame.  I didn't subscribe to the "services" in the first place.  At $0.20 a piece charged by my cell phone service, I lost $0.80 (plus tax) because of these bozos.

How true is this message to recieve a credit of 5,000 dollars.

i got a call last night about a 5ooo credit limit,how true is that.

Got several text from this number. Also, whom ever it is sent me several text about cars and suv for $49.00 dollars a month with bad credit. As well as the $500.00 credit line. Whats it all about.

I receive these messages at least once a week. Some related to buying foreclosures; looking for shoppers; homes available to rent.

I've sent STOP to these before and it seems that then I starting getting text from another number.
It seems to me that replying STOP - just confirms to the Spammer that this is an active number and they should put it on more of their distribution lists.....Just a theory.

Received several text messages thanking me for my recent credit application for a $5,000 credit line @  www.CreditNow101.com

got 3 messages from 77893 telling me i had to opt. out to stop these messages i was being billed for.  Called T-mobile and they put a txt block on my line. Which is fine, i don't txt.

I replied "stop" to the first msg I got from them and it replied "You have opted out of the service."
I haven't gotten any msgs from them since.

Why would you think that this site is set up by the originator of the call?  First of all, this is a forum for people to complain ABOUT them, not TO them.  Second of all, the whole point is that they are texting you without your permission and are not interested in what you think.  Your skills at using Google are adept, since you found this site.  However, you don't seem to understand WHY this site exists.  If Mary Maxey is your real name, then you are a superb idiot.  Why not list your phone number, too, so the rest of the world can also "take you off of this calling list"?

Got 2 SMS messages in two days from 77893, from CashUSA101.com offering a cash advance in 1 hour.  

The FCC form for complaints about violation of the do-not-call-registry won't take the complaint if you can't give it the originating 10-digit phone number, and if you call the FCC toll-free number, the FCC contractor's clerk has the same form and won't take the complaint without the 10-digit number.  The clerk suggested sending in an email with the info that you have -- use the address <fccinfo@fcc.gov> as suggested by KAdams.

HOWEVER, my cel phone provider suggested that we reply to the SMS message 4 times, each time with a one-word computer command, using in turn STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL.  Use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, and only one word in each message.  Back came a confirmation message saying that our number was removed from all services.

I am so tired of getting these text messsges from this same text!! I keep reporting but nothing happens. REnt 2 own at $265 a month. 1-866-259-0662.............. STOP

recieved unsolicited message at 1:22pm 07/26/2010 from 77893 that reads "Attn: We are looking for shoppers to get paid to eat & shop! pay is up to$50/hour. for current jobs call 1866-749-1238

However I don't want to reply because I don't give out this number so whoever got it my number is sending this wrongfully and I don't want to verify for them that this is a working text number and then recieve even more text spam. I get about 3 a week from this 77893 number and wish I could block them or that somehow this could be stopped.

WTF is 77893 and how do we stop it?????
