Hey thanks guys. I did a google search after recieving the same email wanting to order banners I thought I better do a bit of checking up also.... and got to this page!
Hope no one gets stung by this fraud.

I got the same message/email yesterday looking for banners. I could tell from the moment I read it that it was bull. I got one about a year ago from someone else with an odd request for banners out of state.

This person/company is a scam.

You know what???? Just until now, I eighter was a very innocent person or a very dumb person. I really DO trust people, specially if they are from Church, I personally don't go to Church but I believe in Jesus Christ and GOD, How in the world would someone use his name to hurt people?   I guess from now on, I will be sure not to be so confident about others. This have  open my eyes.
It's a shame to say that I have received the same e-mail from Rev. Robert Clark, I am a small sign business company and when I saw the big order of banners and after replying his e-mail with the quote and he accepted it I was really happy that we had such a big order, specially after his credit cards went through,, one with the full amount of the banners, the other with the amount of the shipping cost, I was delighted and start ordering material to fulfill the order.
He e-mail me very often telling me that  as soon as the money went in my account I should be send it  to the shipping company he provided me. I really wasn't in a hurry because the production of the banners will take about 2 weeks, but he insisted that I needed to send it  via Western Union or Money Gram since this company need it the money ahead of time. He told me this shipping company has done some business with him before. I went to Western Union to get a quote on how much will it cost me to send the shipping money ($2,100.00 (This is what he paid me, but it was not the real cost since I didn't know how much the banners will weight, He insisted to pay this partial anyways and pay the difference when I finished the banners, Thank God the Bank was closed when I went to Western Union, I could't get the money out my account, so I e-mail him to tell him that first thing in the morning I would send the money. Well, first thing in the morning he was calling me but being too early for me didn't answer the call...he call me 3 times and I still didn't answer, the 4th call 30 minutes later from my credit card company telling me about those transactions in my bank, that they were probably a fraud made with stolen cards, at this point I still didn't believe that, I refuse to accept it, so I was on my way to the bank to get the money to send it to the shipping company, but suddenly, I turned around and went to e-mail this Reverend to tell him there was a problem with the transactions. We e-mail back and forth until I told him my bank has frozen my account and can't get money out of it. Thankfully,
I was able to cancel part of my material order but won't get the money back into my account until 3 days from now, the rest of the  money still on my account, I wasn't able to refund it to the credit cards  because the banks have closed the accounts.So now the money will go to the credit card company and they will handle the process of returning it.
It's been a nightmare. I am going to loose money but at least not as much, just the charges for the transactions. I thank GOD that I didn't send the Shipping money yesterday or today, and like I said from now on I will be more careful, I should have checked him out before. Please don't make fun of me for being so "innocent". I just wish someone can stop this person from ripping off others.

Got the banner scam email as well. After calling the guy with a few questions I quickly realized he was clueless and couldn't even communicate effectively. Funny, he asked for my email but he was the one who originally emailed me. Just goes to show, you've gotta be so careful.

He is using many names and telephone numbers with a little research I found he / they are using stolen/ deceased persons credit cards to make obscene purchases the only thing is I don't understand how they profit from this guess that's why I am me and not the good rev. Lol sorry had to !! Be careful !

Got an e-mail from Rev. Robert Clark this morning for price quote.  E-mail looked awful suspicious. No Phone Number or Address given. With a name like Robert Clark you would think his English would be a lot better!  Immediately went on the Internet and did some research. Thanks to this site I got all the info I needed.

i got an email at the sign company i work for, asked for a large order of  banners, various sizes, no other information, of course you can tell be the phrasing of the email that he is fishing... looking for small companies that will think they have a large order & run it through... be vigilent... Google is your friend!  I type in his name & church in parenthesis.... I dont want to deal with anyone out of town or certainly out of the country

Same thing I am a lighting company...this email makes no sense

Hey... I also got a mail from mark_larry74@yahoo.com and they wanted to order our wireless locksystem for patiodoors  and windows (http://www.secuyou.com). They wanted to order 50 pieces and one remote, but they didn't want to use our shipping company. Even thought our shipping is free :-)

The whole process smelled as scam from the beginning. This was only by mail.

SCAM!!!  I am a sales manager at a company in PA that sells SS bottles/containers.  "Rev Matt Clark" contacted us via our website.  He requested a quotation (which I supplied) - then replied back with the following:

   Thanks for the email response back once again and am okay with the price giving.If so am ready to proceed with my credit card !But i will like to recommend you to a freight company for the pickup,Am shipping this product to a Church in Norway and i will like  you to contact this freight company for the pickup with the following address:(Westernintershippingexpress@gmail.com), and the information that the shipping  company will request in order to provide you with the shipping charges is.

Just received similar email for blinds, shades, shutters.  Looked suspicious so did a search - turned up this blog.  Hope anyone with similar does their research!

Got the same email just now from this guy saying he is Paul Green.  he sent me the same email as he sent Skye above with the email: Westernintershippingexpress@gmail.com  and his phone number this time was (802) 771 8897.

Watch out for this guy!

i just got called today from this guy wanting to place an order for ramps.  He wanted me to provide one invoice and i told him he had to pay for the ramps up front and then i would do the shipping separately.  He didn't like that and hung up the phone.  

i never new a Rev would hang up the phone on someone.  i guess that was an act of G-d
