I have received two calls from this number, a man who sounds like he has a heavy indian accent wants me to pay him money UPFRONT to sell a used car I have advertised on craigslist and cars.com.  He was rude and pushy.

They calling me to about my car saying they have a buyer but need directions to get it and my bank info to wire the money lol..not this gal.

I received a couple of calls from this number (783-962-1224), and they confirmed that they got my number from my Craigslist listing. They offered to help me sell my vehicle by placing my listing on numerous websites for $199, and of course there was a "special deal" going on where I could get the service for $99. They said the company was called United Car Exchange.

No thank you!!

I also have a car on craigslist and this number started calling, I have never answered but have heard on answering system, Goodbye and Hi, didn't understand until I read post on this site, thank you for sharing.  Will not answer this number and am removing my ad from craigslist.

I received a call from this number regarding a truck I have listed on craigslist for sale...

An Indian man called asking about my Toyota for Sell, he said he was from United car exchange I said I was not interested in his services and to remove my number from his calling list He started saying oh my god oh my god oh my god I said  excuse me and he said I love you I love you I love you Oh my god oh my God I want you I want you I said that is unacceptable and I'm calling the police on you And he hung up tried to call back number won't go through 783 962 1224

received numerous calls from this number after I listed my truck on craigslist. The last one obviously they pushed the wrong button because it was a conference call I could hear him talking to another guy and there were several others who were chiming in.... saying scam scam.... Looks like craigslist has been taken over by the terrorist too....

I called united car exchange and left a message saying if it is your company calling me I will sue you it is Saturday and they are closed will let you know what happens on Monday

I placed an ad on craigs list for an auto for sale and have received 3 calls from this 783 number

They said it was from united car exchange. I checked. There is such a website but it doesn't seem to have too many cars on it. The scammers are bold.

I listed a car on Orlando Craigslist today-----got calls from this number----in my ad, I said TEXT ONLY

Just got a call from this number, asked about my car on craigslist. As I proceeded to give him the number of the family member who Is selling it, (my dad is selling it) I said " I forgot his number. Let me go find it" I went to my phone to get the number and he said "are you sure you want to give it to a telemarketer" and I said "I don't know you asked for it" and then I hang up because he got mad and he called 10 times I did not answer and he called again and I answered and he said "I'm going to call the owner of the car and I'm going to tell him he raised you [***] and then I'm going to tell him to kill himself then his family and if he does not kill himself I will come kill him and then you" so, not entirely sure of what to do now. Don't answer this number!!

Me too! Weird but true.  We just put a car for sale on Craigslist.  It really sort of sad this person has issues.

Someone keeps on calling and hanging up

I got the same call from the same number (783-962-1224) when answer the computer sounded voice goodbye and hungs up. Blooked the call, by adding to your contact list as unknown or Dummy then from IPhone Setting\Phone\Blocked\Add New it will bring contact list select the unknown or Dummy that you added. and click done. That number should be blocked

i just got a call from this number783-962-1224 for the last couple of days about a car that my brother put on cl.
he sounded mexican n asked if i had a car for sell and i told him wrong number. he said sorry to bother you ma'am
n after that we hung up. i called the # back n its saying mascs that the # number doesn't work. i didnt recognize that
kind of # anyways i played it off.

Advertised car on CL and so far have had calls from scammers wanting money to advertise on their website with promises to refund blah, blah, blah, blah.   Read reviews from all the people who got burned. They either call from "unknown" or a number you can't reach them at. Once Driven in Vegas was one who keeps calling.

I have the same problem and that's freaking brilliant.
