Debt collector?

I received a call from "Mike Johnson" at this number stating I needed to call another number to resolve some case against me or there would be legal ramifications. He said he was calling on behalf of Accufile. I asked him what county this case originated from, but he hedged and said he was just the guy who located people for other parties. He gave me a case number and a phone number to call, but I suspected it was either a scam or a collection agency attempting to collect on an old, discharged debt.

First they called my ex twice (in another state). Then they called my in-laws (who have a different last name and are in another state) twice and then my in-law's brother(in another state)(no relation to me!!) once !! Todd from Accufilein Miami Florida. They have a complaint filed against me and need someone to accept legal papers from the sheriff's office. Right. And I have some land in Abu Dhabi I'd like to sell to you. Dirtballs.

4 times today only. Says unless I pay them through western union, a warrant will be issued, and the Sheriff will come an arrest me. Big sigh.

They keep calling me every 5 minutes.  Threatening me said a complaint was filed by accufile. They are using my name when I was married to first husband 25 years ago. Wanting a lot of personal information which I would not give.   Said if I did not clear this up I would be in a lot of trouble.  Don't know who this company is.  

Someone called my house looking for me ex saying it was the Miami Sheriff's Dept. who had  a warrant for his arrest. It's not true since he has passed away. Number was 786-235-9483.

These people are low life's they called my son's in laws in pa saying that they had papers to serve on me frist I have not lived in pa I only visted my son and that has been 5 years ago.

Yesterday a relative got a call from these same people.  for me to call.  I called and they said i owed money and that I'm being sued.  I know this was not true.  I told them i have no knowledge.  They asked if I would like to settle and to make payment.  I told them I do not wish to make any decisions and told them "Have a nice day" and hung up. Today they called an uncle and told him to tell me that I was suppose to appear in court today or a bench warrant will be issued.  haha..what a joke.  the number that called them was this number and there is no way I have any court dates out of my area as I do not go anywhere.  I think this is someone who is trying to collect money from innocent people. I received a call from this number this morning saying that someone had filed a complaint, and I was to call the sheriff's department at 800-829-1831 and give a case number. A process server needed to file papers. I told the caller that it sounded like a collection agency and hung up.

They called my young daughter looking for my sister.  Saying that they had a warrant for her arrest and they were going to come to the house.  Luckily she did not give them any information because she said it sounded weird.  We called the number back and it was a full mailbox. Interesting!!! Very glad my daughter didn't give them any information.

Don't know who this is but seems like they are prank calling me from a computer. Maybe a hacker? The number was 7862359483

Received a call from a "Mike Johnson" saying he was looking for my mother, he stated her name and told me that she was being served over being turned in!  They had tried to serve her once already and failed attempt but for me to take a number down when I found a pin!  My husband and brothers all work in law enforcement so I let my husband speak to him!  He asked what, why and where a jurisdiction from Florida had anything to do with Tn!  This is a scam!  You call the number back and you can't even leave a message!  Avoid this number and man at all cost!  When asked
How he received our number he said they searched records to find who she talked to most!!

This is a scam!  Do NOT pay these people!

Receive this phone call about 3x - 6x a month, saying the same thing, they will give me a number to call but it ends up being a debt I owed a long time ago- They won't give me a case number, just say the sheriff office has been trying to serve me and can't get a hold of me (someone is at my house everyday all day) I told them I was currently filing bankruptcy and asked if they wanted my lawyers number and they said 'well take note and hung up'
The person on the phone sounded very distant and echo'y'
Lawyer told me not to worry about it as they don't believe it is anything to be worried about.....
I think it should be illegal to call and harass people like they do. They call me, my cell, my parents house phone, my husband, my husbands work, my work, everyone they can think of that may know me.

Son got a call from this number looking for another family member and the name was correct. He said no one by that name lived there. So I called the no. Got redirected and a message  that said the voice mail box was full and could not take any more calls.  I hope I don't get any calls now; I had to change and unlist my number after many years of bogus calls.  

JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER SAID A COMPLAINT WAS FILED AGAINST ME AND THAT I WAS TO CALL THIS OTHER NUMBER

Theses ppl have been calling for the past month, harrasing all my family members saying that they need to get in contact with me ,that the sheriff needs to serve me with some legal documents. They are full of [***] and i dont know how theres still ppl allowed to harras others and get away with it.

Customer said called in for her Mom said it was a case against her mom and if she didnt call in 2 hours they would move up into the next step in the process.

They called me and said they were from the Miami police dpt. wanting to verify the death of someone by the name of Jordan Gatlin
