A person called me and asked for my name. I asked the person why??. The person said it was from medical billing matters. Then I said I'm not interested and I hung up.

This number called once and I said hello and they hung up. now they keep calling every day.

I never answer calls that I don't know the name or number on the caller ID so I have never spoken to these idiots but would like to know how to make them stop calling, due to being on the national do not call listings.

1st call asked for my husband who wasn't home and didn't want to leave a message. 2nd call there was no one at the other end of the phone. I told them if they weren't going to say anything not to bother to call again!

I RECIEVED A CALL FROM 786-279-4764 AND A WOMAN ASKED FOR MY BOYFRIEND BY NAME. WHEN I TOLD HER HE WASN'T HERE SHE SAID THIS IS SIERRA. I ASKED CAN YOU LEAVE A MESSAGE SHE SAID ONLY IF HELL GIVE ME MONEY SHE LAUGHED AND HUNG UP! I

They call me every night at around 7:30/8:00pm. I don't answer, what really ticks me off is I am on the DO NOT CALL list and they are still calling me!!!

They call me around 8 to 9pm and it is getting annoying.

Just call my office and said it's about a civil matter and said they will call back.  I google them and found this and other websites with the same complaint.

I just got a call from them this morning, but I've been getting quite a few calls from Florida's police associations ever since I registered my vehicle in this state.  Previously I was registered in another state.  Not only do I regret giving this state my tax dollars, I regret giving them my phone number.    

I am on the federal Do Not Call registry, but apparently that doesn't apply to people fishing for donations when they've obtained your number through the DMV.  It would have been nice to know that the DMV was going to allow these places to call me BEFORE I walked out of the DMV with my new license plates.  I don't understand how this is legal.

Here's a simple way to get rid of all marketing callers.
Record the tone you hear when you dial a disconnected number (you can find the wav (sound file) online.
Whenever a telemarketer calls play the sound (we're sorry, but the number you have reached....etc etc)
Most telemarketers use a program to dial to then only pick up the phone when you answer. When the program hears the disconnected signal it automatically deletes you from their calling list!!

Received incoming call from # 786-270-4764.  I let it ring three times before accepting call to "speaker" phone.  I remained quiet waiting for the caller to announce him (her)self, but (s)he remained quiet and untimately hung up. The call is listed as coming from the Police Athletic League.

A man calls asking to speak to my wife.  When I tell him she is not here now, he hangs up before I can ask him what he wants.

I keep getting annoying calls from a rude individual from the FLPAL organization.  The Florida Police Athletic League customer service (1-800-299-1895) has an automated DO NOT CALL function to help stop the harrassment.

Received a call on business phone, they asked for the owner, and I answered that he was out on sick leave. Caller wanted to know when he would be back, said I didn't know. He said he would call back, then hung up. He was not professional.
