I have received a call but nobody talked

i have no idea who this is calling. i have got this call like 2 or 3 times already and no one speaks. comes up on the caller id FLPAL. no clue what that it.

A guy identified himself as Gary Dimond and when questioned as to who he was he hung up. Smells to SCAM.

The man called asking for (name) the apt. owners name. We are renting the apartment for a certain period.. I asked who from, he said from the Police department. to what caught my attention and i asked if he wanted to leave a messge, since that the person would not be home in sometime. But then he desperately wanted to hang up. Said "dont worry baby" which was a bit creepy for a telemarketer or a policeman so i obviously looked the phone up.. Scared my butt off for a second there thought i was being followed or something. Internet search says its a private landline in the north miami area, info from the whitepages.com and whowhere.com. Then i searched the police departments in the area, no such number. Consequently did a google on the number and this came up..God Bless America and God Bless the World WIde Web... Watch out for these fraudulent [***]

Recently calling frequently and asking for donations for police.  Told them that I do nothing by phone, that they can mail me the info and then I'll decide.  Not interested to do that.

Jusy got a call and they asked for me by name. I said I wasn't in and can I take a message, they wouldn't leave a name. "It's ok, if she isn't there I'll call back" and hung up.

"Steve" called at 5:30pm....wife answered phone and when she asked the nature of the call, he got coy and then rude.  She called out to me if I wanted to take it...I replied loudly, "it sounds like a courtesy call..." He got really rude and hung up.  More to come, I am sure....How do we get them to quit calling or better yet, get them off the phone lines altogether? !@$%@$%@#$^$%!!!

Whoever this is calling and hanging up needs they [***] cursed out. If this is a fundraiser ya ass is unorganized. STOP CALLIN ME!

I have gotten many calls from a this "company" when I answered the man on the other line explained that he was calling for the "PAL" program (something to do with off duty cops and young teenagers), and asked if we would do a small donation.  when i told the man on the phone no thank you that we donate to the charities that we chose to already he got VERY rude and hung up on me.

This is My husbands business I answer phone The man said his name was joe and wanted to speak to owner . When I said he ai9nt in  he hung up!!

Got a Call from this # and wanted to speak to the owner.  Said he would call back later.  Where's the Do Not Call List!

FLPAL keeps calling. According to the Sun-Sentinel this business states that they are calling for the Florida Highway Patrol.   As per an investigative report by this paper  the callers, or telemarketers, are asking for contributions for their cause.  The  Florida Highway Patrol stated that only a small percentage goes to them an this organization keep most of the contributions and pays their employees with it.  Florida is known for scams so beware.   Suggest  you  contact the Intenal Revenue Service an report this information to your local office.  If the IRS discovers some  inproprieties then  there is a possible  reward due to the the misappropriation of funds in the min of 10k.  Suggest you also report this  number to  the FCC.

I keep getting annoying calls from a rude individual from the FLPAL organization.  The Florida Police Athletic League customer service (1-800-299-1895) has an automated DO NOT CALL function to help stop the harrassment.

I received the call, and since I didn't recognize the number or name FLPAL I did not answer.  I do not answer calls I do not know, as well as Unknown Caller calls.

Called tonight.  I didn't answer.  He/She/It hung up on my answering machine.  F-tards.

why dont the cops do something about this scam??

Called at 8am SHARP this morning (Saturday), woke up the whole house . Wife answered the phone and caller asked for me. She told them I was still sleeping and the caller said "It's not important, we'll call back" and hung up!!

very annoying they call all the time and are rude.
