Listen up people. That number belongs to MY ADVOCATE, a company out of Miami, Fla, who works as an OUTSIDE connection for Aetna Insurance. Not part of, but hired and allowed to harrash you by phone.They said they can call Aetna members. They were told - no they cannot, after you have been told to stop all calls, including a number to the member's business. In NYS it is considered harrassment after being told several times to stop, or bothering a business. So, when you get a live idiot, warn them to STOP. Then call aetna and give theh the comapny name and Fla phone number. They will claim they work for Aetna, and do, but the cont' calls is not wanor allowed. Aetna will make excuses for the outside company, who is trying to upgrade your policy, sell you something,or whatever reason, but you do not have to take their cont calls. Unless you are interested, if not, tell Aetna you will drop them if it cont. Its the wise-ass talk back, and cocky mouth that pissed me off. Does Aethna allow this treatment of members? is what I asked a supervisor.She called Miami, to have the Do Not Call listed, the calls have stopped! Want to sell me something? Send me an email or snail mail. Stop the repeated annoying, troublesome phone calls.

TNS!!!! Queen Latifa's mom sounding shemale called and started asking personal info about my mother. Said they were calling for SCAN elderly insurance coverage. More like SCAM!! Asked for her info from my mom, who happened to be visiting. Asked me for additional info. I gave false info to test if they had anything to legitimize their association with SCAN. The Bahama Mama didn't have jack to compare.info with what I gave her. I started AXing her questions and the bawlzy beyatch hung up on me.   Da noive!!! I loved wasting her time.

This is a scam I don't care what they say.  Just contact your local Council on Aging or Local Gov. offices on health care.  Never conduct private business concerning your health on the phone unless you know for sure who it is.  These people are just trying to feel off you to make their scam work.

Like have been called by this # 22 times! I am a minor & it sucks cause they alays call while I'm @ school! They r from Florida & r calling people in Connecticut! Why? I think this is a scam. Called and asked for my husband by the name he has never used.  Claimed to be with something like Life Alert ( a device to call for help for the elderly).  He isn't THAT old!  I asked them to cease and desist.  Have turned them in twice now to donotcall.gov.  

Who are they and why do they keep calling after I have told them a number of times not to call any more? The number comes up as Social Service Coordinator.

They are legitimate! I checked with Coventry (Medicare Advantage plan administrator), and they said Altegra is legitimate. Coventry also gave me a phone number to call Altegra; when I called Altegra, they said that 786-300-4081 is one of the numbers they use to call people, so it's OK to give them information. what do you mean it's ok to answer the questions they ask. no matter who these people are, no matter who ANYone is who calls you on the phone don't give them any f*cking information. "They are legitimate!" lol. you are an idiot or the spam caller themselves. these people call me three and four times a day. where do these insurance companies get off. they are outsourcing. I would image it's an attempt to sabotage the health care program. i'm considering changing from United I'm so disgusted with them calling me all day. i said NEVER call me again and they called the next morning bright and early.

These people helped my sister fill out a huge application package that in effect,  got her contribution  to SOS dropped.  As a result, she saved $100.00 a month.  You have to have a relatively  low income to qualify.  I think the State picks-up the payment through some sort of grant from the Feds.

They are Legit.

It's me again..My sister was referred to them by her insurance company.

I got a call this morning saying they could reduce the cost of my medication. When I was asked how much my social security benefits were, I ended the call.

Caller ID states "My Advocate".  They're selling some type of insurance or benefit services to older people.  I'm on the Do Not Call List and they call approximately 2-3 times a week at all hours.  I just don't answer and they never leave a message.

I got a call from this number and it says it is Social SV Coor. I do not answer it and it does not leave a message on my answering machine, but it keeps calling my house.

They call almost every day.  We do not answer.Of course they don't leave a message.
After reading these reviews we blocked the number. Now we'll see if they call with another number, as scammers tend to do.

This appears as social services in call but no one answers. Most likely telemarketer spam.

Yes, this number has called me several times and if I don't recognize the number -- I don't answer.  They are idiots who obviously are scammers as they NEVER leave a message.

I do the same as you. I don't answer any calls I don't recognize and this one said "My Advocate" as the caller name.
I knew immediately it wasn't anyone I know as I have always been my own best advocate and never turned that responsibility over to anyone.
You're doing the right thing not answering calls that come unsolicited. I'm even on the National Do Not Call List but, here we are. If "they" won't obey the Law, I've got no business speaking with "them".
