I do the same as you. I don't answer any calls I don't recognize and this one said "My Advocate" as the caller name.
I knew immediately it wasn't anyone I know, or care to know, as I have always been my own best advocate and have never turned that responsibility over to anyone.
You're doing the right thing not answering calls that come unsolicited. I'm on the National Do Not Call List myself but, here we are. If "they" won't Obey the Law, I've got no business speaking with "them".

“David” refused to give any information until I gave him my name etc. I stated he opt out the number he called. He refused until I gave him the information he requested. I open pulled out my air horn, blasted until he hung up. I’ll keep it by the phone.

No message, just hangs up when the recorder answers.

The call was from Florida, he said the companys name is My Advocate referred by my insurance company. They said I may qualify to have the amount charged for healthcare waived but I needed to answer some questions. The more questions I asked they stopped responding and I ended the call. I refused to give any information.
