The number 78660 is from Zynga Poker which is an application on Facebook ... A person can purchase chips to play poker so they can pay by their mobile balance with the money deducted from their balance when they confirm they want to purchase those chips.

I tried a trial with Spotify and signed in via my facebook account then got a text telling me to text STOP78660  to cancel my spotify trial or i will be billed £10 a month after the trial. I can stop my Spotify trial by goin in to my Spotify account and pressing the cancel button -  I have no need to send a text to STOP78660 that will no doubt cost me a few quid.

I also have no doubt these scammers are doing this with all sorts of online streaming music or poker sites etc...

I was on FB yesterday, when I noticed a promotion, allegedly by the Usain Bolt Foundation FB page.  All I had to do was to click like to get a chance to win a Usain Bolt t-shirt.  I was contacted today via FB messenger. See conversation below.  The  'representative' wanted me to send my mobile number via 78660

I have been charged nearly £50 in one night from this number. I never enter my number in anything over the Internet and didn't receive a text or anything. I think it is absolutely disgusting that company's are able to do this without any confirmation from the bill payer.

There was a charge for £30 on my bill for riot games! Never heard of them but apparently I bought a game called league of legend!? I don't play these games and I did not buy it. Game not on my device either so where is it? On the same date a text apparently went from my phone to this number 78660 to accept the charge. ???  Don't know how this happened but I'm being scammed. Company not helpful, surprise surprise.

With EE and tried a Spotify Free 30 day trial subscription. Without thinking I text STOP to 78660 as I thought it was from Spotify. Took £10 off of me and when my daughter checked my spotify account I had never been progressed onto Premium after the 30 day trial. Going to phone my network and see what can be done.

Received a Free Txt stating loan terms and conditions, all I had to do is reply 'y' to the text for monies to be deposited to my account, I then received a txt message saying 'thank you for your payment of £26.00 you information will follow shortly, realising it was a scam I txt STOP and contacted my service provider immediately.

My friend put my number onto something to do with psn and a 20 pound gift code. I haven't replied to any texts but will they still take money from me. I don't own my phone contract thats all. My parents do and i want to know if i am being scammed because of my stupid friends

Just had a text from this number, well 4 texts not just one each one saying mmog mobile are billing me £28 on each text......silly boy that's done this forgot to hide his details so I've got his iCloud email. Will check with o2 tomorrow to see what/if I've been billed & if I have I'll be contacting Apple & the police so the little [***] is done for fraud. Not amused at all 😡
