I have recieved a call from this number twice now. Howevewr, I never answer. I just assume its a scam

Caller with a heavy Indian accent wanted to connect to my PC remotely. I told him it would be a cold day in Hell when an unknown caller connects to my PC. Tried calling two more times, he didn't leave a message.

Has been calling for days now.  Usually once in the a.m. and once in the p.m.  I make it a practice to not answer any calls from an 800 number that I don't know.

Called 5 times today.  No one answers.  Redial--call cannot go through is the message from the operator.

Woman called with heavy accent.  Said they were a Windows Certified company and there was a problem with the motherboard of our computer, something about a virus in downloads.  She kept repeating this and asking for information.  I said I was not interested in their services and hung up.  I then called the number and got a message that the number was not in service.  Be aware--this could not be a legitimate business.  (call occurred in Massachusetts)

lol they have been spamming me all day and i don't pick up the number just looks phony one time they actually left a message it was just loud back ground noise and Arabic. from what i hear they are from "Microsoft" to bad i use a mac at home.

I told them I did not have a windows system. They wanted to know what OS(operation system) I had and I told them Unix. Unix has no know virus or malware. They asked me what kind and I made up a name called GooFoo Wizard. It took everything in me to keep from laughing out loud. She said that wasn't an OS and I said it was and that it was an open source OS. She hung up on me. LOL
On a side note: I've been in computers for many years now from the 80's. And could spot the scam right away.
However, these PC scammers are getting really aggressive calling somebody's home phone. In short, if it sounds weird or to good to be true then DON'T DO IT!!. Hang up on them.
I reported this call by the way to the "do not call" website.

I refuse to answer this number because they never leave a message when they call. I just logged them under "A**hole Scammers" on my phone. Plus, I figured it was a scammer because the phone number is
800-1234567.

I got phone call from this number every day. I do not know who is calling me.

+8001234567 called me and a woman started a confusing story.
I didn't trust the telephone number which was displayed and I hung up.
Don't know what it was all about but I don't think it was in my interest to connect with that person.

Received the same calls couple of times. They call my German mobile number! [***]. I added the number to my reject list. No time to waste with this [***].

Answered, heard some clicks then someone with a heavy accent saying something about computer. Hung up.
Interesting I get this call on the same day I removed iobit Advanced System Care from my computer and told them it was because it had too much spyware and browser hijacks.
