also, they are allowed by law and will call your relatives and neighbors and in certain states and with certain accounts wage garnish and sue. you should at least make an effort to pay them that will stop further coll act and verify your correct num and add at least then they will just cont to call you and not your neighbors and relatives.

Have gotten calls.  I am on a no-call list.  They will not tell who they are except that they are a business.  Have no idea why I am being called.

Got a call today from 1-888-310-3042 today.  I think these people called my mother-in-law and left a message there that they were trying to reach me. No info on what they want.  My thoughts are it is a medical bill thst was an issue and has now be resolved by the insurance company, so I don't owe anything.  I'm upset they called my mother-in-law before trying to reach me

well guess what, they got bunch of numbers if you dont answer to one you'll answer to the other...they will call anyone!! hunt you down...until you pay ur bill...that's not bad...what on earth makes you think that you're gonna go to the hospital for free?? PAY YOUR BILL IF YOU WANT THEM TO STOP...that's as easy as it can get

I just got a call from my Dad, who is a detective, 5 states away from me-- telling me that he got a call from BRIAN AMBRAMSON telling him that he was looking for my husband-- who has lots of outstanding debt right now-- but NONE of it is in my name. Who the hell are these @#$@#$ - Lowest scum of the earth, taunting people, treating them so badly, embarrasing them by calling their fiends and family. I hope they have problems sleeping at night. The karma train will come for them

I got hundreds of calls from this number recently, and i only picked up once, there is a voice-mail-like voice saying "is this bob" blah blah...so annoying.
And it kept saying, please hold on until an available representitive get to you.

The 1-800-220-1622 is definitely Accounts Recovery Bureau.
I called the 610 number and they confirmed it.

I have been getting calls from the 800 number 2-3 times a day asking to press 1 to confirm who I am then it puts me on hold. I've waited over 10 minutes for someone to answer and NEVER got anyone to pick up from the 800 number.

I called the 610 number told them to remove me from the auto dialer and quoted the Fair Debt Collections Act saying the calls were harassment and to only contact me by mail from this point forward which they agreed to do. I suggest the same for anyone else getting these harassing calls.

They call from 1-800-220-1622 and ask to return call to 1-866-230-1954. They got the wrong person. I spent a lot of time on the phone to clear this up. When I asked them to send me a letter/fax to state my account is cleared, they refused and the manager was extremely rude.

I personally believe that it is a scam or something like that. I moved to the States only two weeks ago and I started getting calls from 800-220-1622 a few days after my arrival. I am from Europe, therefore I have nothing to do with the US financial services and this 'Account Recovery Bureau'...

Hmmm....  I wonder who employs this "anonymous" - Accounts Recovery Bureau?

I answer the questions regarding the person they are calling and press the numbers they tell you to press that we are NOT THE PERSON they are looking for yet they still call three times a day , day after day!

i recevie calls from this number 2-3 times a day, but when i finally got tired of them calling i picked up and the recording says "IF YOU ARE THIS PERSON PLEASE HOL;D THE LINE....BY HOLDING ON TO THE LINE BLAH!! BLAH!! BLAH!!!!!!  who wants to hear this crape if you are not that person..whoever is operating the recording needs to make sure they have the correct person and their telephone number it is becoming a big pain the rear!!!!!!

Did they ask for you by name?  If not, I'm guessing the person who had your phone number before it was assigned to you probably owes a medical bill.  The medical provider probably had your current number as the debtor's contact number, and provided it to this collection agency along with their other details.

I have got this call ALOT! No clue who it is, I also called back & it kept ringing!

I  have been receiving continuous phone calls from this number 1-800-220-1622 day and night and when I would answer the call it would at times  be either a live person  or an automated system. Apparently the calls were not directly for me at all. I later on found out that they were a collection Agency under the name of Accounts  Recovery Collection Agency located in Wyomisssing, PA. The calls were getting pretty annoying especially when they would leave messages prompt by their automated systems on my voicemail. I finally had enough and reported them to the Do Not Disturb Registry(1-888-382-1222) and ever since then the calls have ceased.

These people had been calling my moms cell phone leaving a message harassing her saying that it was a bill for me seeing a Dr Moniva well the only problem is I never seen this doctor I seen a Dr Asdell and I'm just about done paying this bill and now this lady is saying I owe 66.38 to Accounts Recovery Bill I had never even heard of this company the lady that called me she was very rude and impolite and told me to send a check or a money order only and I thought this was strange because normally you could pay by debit card the young lady said her name was Jasmine Bossler the address that was given to me was ARB P.O Box 6768 Reading PA 19610 and the telephone number was 1-800-220-1622 I feel some strange in my gut that kept me woke all night and some said go online and check this matter out I'm glad I did cause I was gonna send a money order and now I'm thinking this is a scam I'm also gonna call the doctors office that seen me

It is Accounts Recovery collection agency. They do a lot of medical bills collections. Their big tactic is to call people's relatives and ask for them, hoping to pressure them or get a contact number.
