- Another Victim| 2 repliesI did not get a call, nor did I give out my information or card number to anyone. And yet, a charge from these criminals appeared on my bank debit card. I am disputing with the bank now and have had to cancel my card and get a new one. I saw another post from someone to whom this also happened. Somehow, they not only got my card number, but they also got the four-digit security number on the back of the card. That is the only way they could have obtained any authorization from my bank to charge the account. Therefore, this "scam" is much deeper than a telemarketing fraud. It is identity theft as well. I urge you all to report this to your local law enforcement entity and let's get this operation shut down and people locked up behind bars.
- Andrea K. replies to Another Victim| 1 replyI am responding to this board because I wanted to find information on this "cruise." I did not get the card in the mail, but was on the phone ordering a product, when afterwards, I was told I won a cruise and was transferred. I should have known when I told them I really couldn't afford it. They were willing to break my fees into payments. I only got to check a website they gave me with my details tonight, and it does not exist.
I won't panic. I will get in touch with my bank and get it all taken care of. I appreciate all the information that everyone has contributed on here. They did not mention a time share presentation and they were pushy.
As far as contacting the BBB - they gave them a D+ rating for number of complaints and unresolved issues. Someone on here posted a link to them and you can check them out. I was really hoping it wasn't a scam and that the information was just outdated - but I am going to clear this up tomorrow. - BobThis company is a SCAM and a CON---they LIE about everything.
First off, they have an F with the BBB with over 1000 complaints:
http://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida/busines ... ices/caribbean-
cruise-line-in-fort-lauderdale-fl-92014161#ratingdetails
I purchased a cruise from them and all i have received are lies, deceptions, extra fees, and BS.
Have NOTHING to do with them.
Everything they have said about my vacation has been WAY WAY oversold and delivered very little.
Free hotel...yeah right...they put us up in a real dump instead of the hotel they said we would be in.
Free Meals...yeah right...puny little buffet...and the mandated gratuity and service charges were so high I should have
taken the family to Golden Corral instead.- Caller: Caribbean Cruise Line

- JuMy sister was called by RAM Caribbean Line Ft. Lauderdale FL in the middle of the night. She has Alzheimer's or Dememtia. She apparently gave them here US Dollar mastercard account number. Shortly after that July 2012 call we went on holidays for two weeks in BC Canada. When we were back I was collecting her bills and asked why this charge on her bill. She kept sayinf she didn't know. I then called BMO USD Mastercard to inquire about this. They told me to call the company directly before trying to dispute this charge. The number is 1 800 221-8200. They said she did give her number otherwise there would be no charge to her account. I asked them for the three numbers behind her card however they said they don't keep that information. Then I asked if she had signed anything saying she wanted to go on this trip. They said: We have an audio receipt. I requested to hear the audio receipt and that BMO Mastercard wanted to hear it also. Because the call was made in July 2012, the audio receipt is archived. I still have asked to hear it regardless. They keep saying that it will take more time to get it and also that my request could be declined. What should I do? I will get in touch with a lawyer if possible.

- isittolate? replies to CJ| 2 repliesif its been past the 30 days since the first phone call, can i still get my money back?
- Dani - researchThe reality is, the bigger they are the harder they fall. One day it will happen just not anytime soon. This website in case you missed it (www.thecaribbeancruisescam.com), shows a sneak peek "behind the scenes" activity about the scam. YES it’s a scam according to Attorney Generals across the nation. Don't take our word for it. FBI calls it a scam too! ALL THE RESEARCH IS RIGHT HERE AND YOU CAN MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND IF YOU THINK THIS IS A SCAM OR NOT. We just make it easier to make that determination. We encourage other independent researching but the results are always the same.
Just remember they’ve already broken the law with the telemarketing call in the first place to gain your business. We’re trying to start up the biggest class action against them. Everyone is entitled to up to $1500.00 per incident from the illegal robo-calls. Why are they still doing it? Nobody is taking action- until NOW! Band together and support www.thecaribbeancruisescam.com today . Enjoy the site.
Remember- we are only concerned about the cruise/timeshare package "deal". We are uninterested about what happends when booking the boat directly- the reason why some positive feedback exists.

I have never had a hard time getting through, are on the cruise - carmalitaI called the number listed on the back of my Nordstrom bank card and it forwarded me the cruise ship line stating I could take advantage of this cruise for 59.00 for my self and my husband. mind you I work for a bank but thought because the number was attached to the pamphlet the bank gave me then I was safe. unfortunately once I gave my information I felt uneasy. florida is number 1 for identity theft. so I went to the celebration cruise line website. the customer service number was different and hours of operation was not close to what we seen online. disputing the transaction as soon as it hits my bank account.

- MarleneI believe I've scammed by a company called "CARIBBEAN CRUISE LINE. Now 7 years later, after taking my my initial deposit I have people calling me from some company called Travel One...saying I owe a balance for a vacation that I NEVER took. I've already lost my initial deposit. They keep threatening to take me to 'collections for this so-called balance'. They don't have a written contract or anything from me in writing. I want these people to leave me alone & stop harassing me. I just wanna make sure that this collections they are threatening won't affect my amazing Credit Report that I have earned here in Canada. Anyone help or opinions would be greatly appreciated. thanks Marlene
