I just received a call from this number. They called my office number which no apple account is tied.

The number they called from, according to the caller ID was Apple support but it was a Robo-call.  The computerized voice said your Apple account has been compromised. Press "1" for tech support now. We know that telemarketers can make your caller ID appear the number is coming from a number other than the one they are actually calling from. Here is a hint. If you have an Internet account, the service never calls you if your account has been compromised. They simply revoke access and send you an e-mail to the address you have on record to contact them or they have a pop-up sign telling you your account has been shutdown due to suspicious activity.

Call from APPLECARE with this 800 number claiming there is some suspicious activity on my apple account and not to use my device before I call this number back. - SCAM.

I received a call from the same number 800-275-2273 claming to be Apple Care, I answered and was told my iCloud account was hacked/breached, and even gave me my daughter’s name as I’m told using my email account, I was asked do I live around stores like Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, now I really knew something was wrong!! I told that man with the Indian accent, don’t call me no more with that BS, he quickly hung up the phone...it’s definitely a SCAM!!!!

I have gotten a number of calls that come up on caller ID as Apple Care, however when I contacted them through their website later, they say they never cold call customers. Let it ring or hang up then contact Apple via their website, they will confirm it is a phishing scam.

Omg he said the samething today!!

The caller said: “My iCloud account has been comprised!”

Scam confirmed with Apple; phishing calls coming from this number. Caller I.D. says Apple but it's stolen. Do not respond. Apple does not use recorded messages to contact customers.

Then what is it. I do not own any apple products.

when they answer, they're using a headset and it is loud, so, i hit the button to dial, and it's DEAFENING.. i do it over and over again.............WHEN will they learn???????????????????????

This number was used in a fake Apple Customer Care scam.  They try to get you to give them control of your computer.

So if it's really Apple Tech Support why are they calling? I have never owned an Apple product and the last time I did use one it was the Macintosh Plus in '91.

They are CROOKS & have nothing to do with Apple.

Told me my dead father is now a ghost and gonna sue me. Said from Apple Care and had some dumb chit chat that I taped.

Calling to tell you your i-cloud account has been hacked.   Hung up on them.   They also call from 35-647-8920.   There is no 3rd digit for the area code.

Said they were from Apple and not to use my account due to fraud and requested I call another number.

Calls about once a day. Leaves no msg.

I wish I had gotten a call telling me my I-Cloud had been hacked. I DON'T HAVE an I-Cloud account.

I want to repeat a comment another person said about 800-275-2273.  I looked in my
records.  It is a valid Apple number.  However, it looks like the wrong people got ahold
of this number.  If you call them, it MIGHT be OK. But if they call you, hang up fast!
It usually is hard enough to get customer service from these companies; I had the
same situation with Microsoft.  It is extremely unlikely that they would call you!
