It is a scam!! Do not give them any information! Call Apple from the number you got when you purchased Apple products!!

LOL, part of the scam message "...please refrain using any financial activity...." USING ANY FINANCIAL ACTIVITY?? LOLZ!!! How do I "use financial activity?" Perhaps you meant "Please do not engage in any financial activity???" It's amazing to me scammers can't even bother to write in proper english. I mean, seriously, how hard is it?

I received several of these calls today on my house phone.  I finally answered the phone as I was tired of it ringing every hour or so.  It was a synthesized voice saying my Apple Cloud account had been hacked and not to go online until I talk to somebody.  Please press 1 for help.
It is obviously a spoofed number and not really Apple Support.  The number matches the Apple Support number, but it’s been spoofed.
The lengths con people (I don’t want to use the word “con artist” anymore!) is disgusting.  Please pass the information of spoofed numbers on to all your friends and family, especially senior family members.  You can always hang up and fail the real number yourself.  The real reps will tell you that they won’t contact customers this way.  Always, always, always hang up and dial the number yourself if you have doubts!

Called saying that my Apple devices show hacking activity, then to speak to an agent press 1 or call 888-992-1145. I did neither but a search of the 888 number shows calls to people that don't have any Apple devices.

Getting AT LEAST 3 or 4 calls a month from this #.  SCAM!!

Why would Apple support call a person???  I never call them...  I believe it's a SPAM/Hack

Today is Thanksgiving. I'm hosting, so when my landline rang I thought that someone was lost or was calling to cancel. Caller Id said Apple Support, so I didn't answer. The female computer generated voice informed my answering machine that my iCloud account had been compromised and that I should press one to resolve the issue. Yeah. Right.

It's a scam. Don't give any personal information to these crooks.

Getting many messages from this number and 800-694-7466, all saying Apple account has been breached. Scammers without a doubt. Wish phone providers would do something about this HORRIBLE "business" !

Called to say my apple cloud account has been breached and to give them my username and password so they can fix it for me.

My call with a similar warning message was from this number & showed up as " APL-Care wys" on caller screen. I hung up after the warning message but then I found number was in my contacts. Foolishly I then thought it was legit & was Apple. Called back the number above that it came in on (8002752273) which can be "aplcare" on key pad. I think the answered auto message said "Apple", asked me to hold with music or without & if I would answer a survey after talking to a rep. I said without music and waited about 4-5 minutes before getting suspicious and googled it and the found these scam alerts .I've blocked the call,but am worried that the "on hold  wait" allowed access to my iPhone. Any thoughts or experience?

Wow. 5 cutoff voice messages today from this number asking me to call 206-309-9231. You would think with how  awesome the NSA is at tracking every message the Feds could put a quick stop to this, but no. Waste everyone's time and money

Got a call saying it was from Apple Support. Said they had information that some numbers had been hacked for Apple users and said not to make any financial transaction until I talked with them.  Having almost gotten scammed a week or so ago, I wasn't buying. Checked Apple Support numbers didn't find the number they gave me. 8557840888. Same thing with the number they were calling from 8002752273.

Called me 4 times in the last hour.   Apple tech...I don't even have any Apple devices...I'm a Samsung girl.   So much for the do not call list!!!

Just got a call on my pocket phone with that caller ID.   I answered but did not talk, and did not hear anyone on the other end.  It was already reported as "SPAM" via my mobile telephone service provider.

I received several calls sayingmy ICloud account has been compromized. suspicious fforeign accent . I know better than anwer this call.
