Got a call from 800-285-8585 today, looked like a scam number with an unknown location but decided to mess with them, answered the call but pressed the keypad on my cell then started pressing all the numbers at the same time, sounds like a fax machine, I guess they got mad and hung up.

It's a number that the scammers from India are spoofing.  It helps them to appear legitimate.  But, it is just one more of the India-related scams.   US Bank has nothing to do with the calls, since it just their phone number being spoofed (stolen for use).

Did not pick-up!  Based on the comments here, that was the best decision.  Obviously, this is spoofing, phishing, telemarketing and maybe even a scam.  Do NOT pick-up or give then any information.  Our credit card company shows a legitimate caller I.D. and will leave a message.  This caller did NOT.  Dangerous number!

My wife answered this call and got a recorded message to lower your credit card debts, so she hung up, knowing it is a scam to steal your credit card info, to get your SS#.

Received a call from this telephone number. Caller ID said "CARDMEMBERSVC". This toll-free-number is associated with US Bank. I have no dealings with that institution. No callback was attempted.

    Fed up replies to Mary
I did the same thing. He called back after I hung up on him. Practically begging me to give him my credit card number. Then he said, " Ma'am, look at the number I called you from. It's a business!" I told him that I would research it and call him back. Maybe I should 😏 just to harass him for a change. So sick of these calls.

These RELENTLESS CRIMINALS are breaking the law with their CONTINUAL, MULTIPLE ROBOSCUM SCAM CALLS. Everyone receiving calls from these SCAMMERS need to take a couple of minutes to FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE NDNC Registry. If enough complaints are filed, hopefully the NDNC will do something about SHUTTING THESE PREDATORS DOWN. For every call I receive, which have been many-sometimes twice a day, I file a complaint. These calls are OUT OF HAND and need to STOP!  These PREDATORS seek to obtain PERSONAL INFORMATION from UNSUSPECTING VICTIMS.  Personally I have never had credit card interest and never will.  This is out of hand and needs to STOP.

Wake up people! It might be U.S.Banks number and if you call it it will route to U.S.Bank but the people calling you are NOT U S.Bank! They are spoofing the number. They do care one bit if you are on the DNC list. Stop answering. They only exist because they get people to answer.

Credit card SCAM from Visa account services.  If these crooks only realized how redundant their message is, and most of will just hang up.
