800-289-1179

Just received 2 calls today from a Nebraska number (402-220-1100) asking me to call the 800-289-1179 number about my refill.  Funny how they have my full name.  I've used Walgreens for 20+ years, when a prescription is ready, I get an automated message recording.  This is a first to have to call an 800 number.  Nope - feels like a scam, sounds like a scam... most likely it's a scam.   Besides, I'm not on medication to get refills.

Just got the 2nd call today from this number. 1st time no message was left and I did not answer it. 2nd on just now they left a message asking me to call a toll free number within 24 hours because they had a prescription for my husband waiting. My husband doesn't take anything so I knew it was a scam. I called my Walgreen's Pharmacy just to make sure they didn't have anything. And of course.... there is no prescription for either one of us waiting to be picked up. I And I verified with them that the only info they will ever ask for is your address. This is most definitely a scam!
