- notafoolI recieved a call from a guy name Bill. He said he was calling from the Chryslar Distribution center and I entered a sweepstakes a while back. Bill said he had my entry in front of him and told me to call 1-800-301-3436 and at the end of the message he said Congratulation. He never said when I entered the contest and he never said I won the Lincoln Navigator. Do not fall for this!!!
- Caller: Chryslar Distribution
- Gloria NorthernI got the same message left on my answering machine today. I called the number but to no avail. While I was waiting for someone to answer, I looked up the prize distribution sweepstake online and I saw your email. Thanks, for making this information public. I try to be careful about sweepstakes and I wish that more people would seek information on such call, emails and letters and maybe we can put a stop to all of these scams.

- melinda replies to joeGot a call in November i was told out of 250 people who entered the drawing, that i was selected as one of the top 5 they selected. and that i would be getting a call back later. Jan. 10. 2011 got a message from bill congratulating me for being the grand prize sweepstakes Winner Said he had my entry in front of him. I had supposedly won a brand new Lincoln Navigator bull crap it's all a SCAM SCAM SCAM. Oh and they called second time from private caller.
- MarkGot a call today from 708-279-7650 from Bill stating that I had won a Lincoln Navigator from a contest that I had entered "some time back" and to please call 1800 301-3436 to claim. Judging from the postings on this website it appears to be a SCAM. Thanks to all who report.

- GaryI received a call yesterday, a message/voice mail from "Bill" telling me he was calling from the "Prize Distribution Center" informing me I'd won a Lincoln Navigator in a sweepstake and to call back on 800 301 3436. I was suspect of winning a contest that I don't remember entering. This doesn't smell right. I am on the "No-Call List" Looked it up and found that this has SCAM all over it. Does abuse of our telcom system and/or scam makes it a Federal offense w/ any penalty?

THANKS DAVE> - David D.Same deal: Bill, Prize Distribution Center, Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway, Lincoln Navigator. Ha!
From reading the other responses, it sounds like they make you drive somewhere without your kids, listen to a timeshare pitch for about 90 minutes, then let you know you have won a "free" vacation. Yay!- Caller: Prize Distribution Center

- NEMESISXYL| 1 replyThis is the second time 'Lincoln Navigator' prize call, this time it was 'Phil". What happened to Bill? I couldn't win because I wasn't with a husband, boyfriend, or other. I guess being single disqualified me. Hurray!! Again, asked to be taken off the call list. Doesn't do any good. Any suggestions? Maybe a class-action suit will get us all a new car!!!

- LudaGot the same message and asked to call 1-800 301-3436.
What can be done to get these people? Why nobody investigates them?
They operating for a long time already and they are alowed to do that. I just don't undersand how they are making money. They probably ask people to pay them some money in front. They are conducting a criminal activity. - KandLBill just called me today and told me that he was from the Prize Distrobution Center and that I won a Lincoln Navigator from a contest (Grand SweepStakes Giveaway) that I know my wife and I did not enter. So I called him back to give him a piece of my mind and all I got was an answering machine. He told me to call the same 1-800 number as everyone else in this post. My called ID says the call came from Chicago, IL (312-625-5531).

- Jen replies to SCReceived same call by same person at same number - I am sure were not all winners!
- Sweepstakes DirectorI work on the legitimate side of this industry, executing games and sweeps - and I got this same call from Bill. Some industry/legal input to keep you safe:
Promotion administrators are the back-end folks who execute prize fulfillment for the brands that sponsor promotions (although sometimes the brands fulfill the prizes themselves). If you get a call from anyone regarding a prize, they should be able to immediately provide you with:
- Their company name, address and phone number;
- The name of the Brand sponsoring the promotion ("Sponsor");
- The name of the promotion;
- A web link or physical address you can write to to get a copy of the official rules for the promotion - or they can email it to you if the promotion is already over, but don't share your email address until you are SURE they're legit;
- A web link to the sponsor's privacy policy.
A legitimate promotion company will NEVER ask you for any personal information (SS#, etc) over the phone, nor will they EVER ask for any money for your prize. That's illegal.
What a promotion administrator will do is:
- Contact you by FedEx, UPS or USPS - or by phone during normal business hours - to advise you of your win status;
- Overnight Express you an Affidavit, W9 Form and Release for you to complete if your prize is valued over $600. You can then do your homework to make sure they're legitimate before you complete, notarize and return the affidavit within the timeline provided for return).
- If a prize is valued under $600, the promotion administrator can just ship it directly to you without an affidavit (unless the prize requires a release - e.g., bike, skateboard- or the winner is under the age of majority in their state). If the promotion you entered did not capture your physical address at the time of entry, the promotion administrator will need to get that from you to ship your prize, but you can ask them to allow you to research/verify them before calling them back to provide the information.- Caller: Price Distribution Center
- Ressa replies to ESI receieved the same call today. They left a message and I returned their call. It took a while for someone to pick up. But, when I called the same voice on my machine was also the operators voice on the machine asking to put in the extension that your calling. That is what made me put in the telephone number online to research. I was able to read all of the comments. After I started reading the comments the young lady answered the phone and asked me for my name. I told her that I will confirm the telephone number you called. But she said that she couldnt look it up that way. But when they called and left message they didnt say a name on the machine. My husband and I go everywhere together so I know we didnt fill out anything to win a Navigator. She said that she couldnt look up my information without my name. I said nevermind, I am looking online now and I see that this is a scam. :)..she said okay well get off my phone and sounded like a redneck/either ghetto. But she changed from professional to unprofessional. I disconnected the call. :)
