    IF the number is legitimately associated with your bank, the number can still be spoofed by scammers. Likewise the names that show in your caller ID.
    U.S. Bank Card Services would be contacting you if your card was issued by them, otherwise, not.

    You are right, it is always safe to call the number on the back of your card.

    Number called about a fraud charge on my credit card. Confirmed online I did have a fraud charge. Called fraud Dept number back and they closed my account. This was confirmed instantly on my account website. This is a correct number to help you if you get called from it.

    I received a call from 800-308-6995 for a fraud issue, they have basic information about me, and a list of think said could be a fraud, I checked my account first and notice there is no issue, then I search for this number and found out this is SCAM number and trying to get my credit information
