I just saw this on my Verizon Wireless cell phone bill.  I was billed 9.99 to my daughter's phone number.  I called Verizon and they agreed to take it off, but said I had to take care of the Predicto people myself or it would appear on my bill every month.  I asked a Verzon manager why they were getting involved with these scammers when it was obvious that this was a scam, and that there were tons of things on the web indicating this was a scam.  They refused to do anything.

In questioning my daughter, she indicated that she received a text message from Predicto, but there was a button to "unsubscribe" which she did, but the Verizon people say that they never received any indication from Predicto that she unsubscribed.  My daugher showed me the text message from Predicto indicating she had unsubscribed.  The Verizon manager indicated that I might possibly have to send as many as 5 or 6 separate text messages to the same 654654 number, with each text message having a different message such as "stop", "quit" unsubscribe", "canel" etc to get this to stop.  This is amazing!!!  If I were Verizon, I would want to make sure that I was not encouraging this scam, but so far their actions indicate they are involved with it by continuing to charge customers when multiple people have complained.  In fact, the manager I talked with indicated that they had had a meeting on this with their managers, and this was the best solution they could come up with (i.e. the one of sending 5 or 6 separate text messages.)  How about telling Predicto they will not bill customers for this?  We have been customers of Verizon for many years but because of this will probably change.  The wireless providers should help customers by refusing to pass these scam charges along to customers.

Yes, I would be interested in a lawsuit.  This is not right.  The FCC needs to get involved quickly.

I have a 13 year old daughter, her phone received a 9.99 charge from predicto mobile and 2 9.99 charges from thumbplay because ahe answered some advertisement/ text claiming free ring tones etc.
Parents beware and check your bills! Thumbmail had refunded us but from the look of these other comments I'm screwed out of the other 9.99 from predicto.

They got me too!  They charged me $20.00 for services I never even requested.  What a bunch of trash!  Now I just got another message from them a month later after I already texted stop!  I called Alltel and they told me there was nothing they could do as I "gave them permission".  I did not give them permission to text me garbadge just so I can pay them $20.00 to do so.  If I keep getting charged I'm going to have to change my cell number!

Dial 1-800-360-0518 and tell them to take you off their service.  Then call your phone company and have them blacklisted.  I like to yell at them for effect - if you threaten legal action, they will submit a refund for you. :)

I also received this charge and they indicated that I replied to a text message, which I did not. I am not even sure how they got my number. I called my provider and advised of the charge and they corrected my bill. I also found the 800-360-0518 number and called them to question the service they indicated that I signed up for some "fun prediction game" the representative argued with me and stated that I would still be responsible for the initial charge but they would cancel the service. I also blocked my phone from receiving any text messages from the numbers that are listed on this site.  Thanks for sharing.

Like BJ, I rec'd a Verizon Premium Text charge of $9.99 along with 9 charges for text messaging that this company sent me. Verizon said they removed the fee but when I checked back a few hours later, the new rep said I was being charged. The 2nd rep said he removed it. We'll see. From what I can tell in Google searches, they do business as predictomobile.com, predicto.com, 654654 and 1-800-360-0518.  Predicto.com has been taken off legit web page advertising. Look at the searches- very scary predators! I think they may send prizes if someone sends them your cell phone no. because a girl named Tracey was begging people to text them.

Anyone interested in a class action suite against these scammers?

I got several text messages from them today. I called the 800 number provided in the text and was told I signed up and put in my pin number. The operator said this was done at 2:33 am.. Funny I was asleep then and my phone was not even turned on. I did not respond to their text messages except to tell them to stop. I never authorized a PIN as this woman kept claiming.

My husband then got on the phone with her and demanded a corporate phone number. She went from saying they don't have one to she doesn’t' know it to she is not allowed to give it out. He did get an address out of her..

I have already filed a complaint with the FCC and will probably file one with the state Attorney General in NJ. We need to get them shut down completely.

I got charged 2 months in a row for Predicto's service...which I never signed up for. I called them & asked how to get a refund, they told me that I couldn't get one. THEN, I told them my next call was going to be to an attorney. This morning I got a message with a number to call so that I can give my mailing info so that I can get a refund check. Apparently they are getting scared because of so many complaints.

Rip Off!!! $9.99 and you get a bunch of garbage on your cell phone. I yelled at them and got the charge which would have been on my cell every month OFF.  They're real sneaky about how they get you to SIGN UP. Predicto Mobile, that's their name. Their phone number is 1 800 360 0518.

Here is a number for this company, call, and they will cancel your account with them that you never did give the OK to do so in the first place. I called and they confirmed the account was cancelled and credit given back. 800-360-0518, I'm glad I was able to help all those here that have been robbed. Be blessed.

This SCAM got ME! I was minding my own bisness when I got a text message saying I was to be charged 9.99. Only on mine, there wasn't an unsubscribe button. I checked out the website, and I think people are just putting in random phone numbers and we are the victims. It isn't fair!
