I received a letter today thanking me for using my bofa credit card. The letter was very short and vague and even included a gift card for barnes and nobles. I thought it was fishy already when I saw that I was given a gift card just because. Now, since when does bank of america give out free gift cards? Never, unless you've redeemed your reward points for it. And so I decided to call barnes and nobles to check the balance on the gift card ad it says $0. So then I called the 1-800-421-2110 to see why they had sent me a gift card and it automatically said card services and required that I punch in my account number, last 4 digits, sign in info and personal pin. I'm very familiar with bofa's customer service line and it was nothing close to this number. Bofa has a male operator speaking whereas, this one has a female operator speaking. Please beware of this phone number as I think it is a scam to steal your personal information.

I received a call from 1-800-421-2110 from a woman named Juliana saying she was investigator from Bank of America (BOA).  She called me in April 2012 regarding a fraud claim I filed with Bank of America in December 2011.  Following my conversation with her, I called BOA back with additional questions.  BOA informed me there were no notes in their file regarding this conversation I had with this alleged investigator and my December 2011 fraud claim was resolved.  One month later this this lady called me telling me this matter was not resolved, asking me to fax my picture ID to 804-264-5735. Naturally, when I called 1-800-421-2110 it only says card services and you must enter in a card number or else you get nothing.

This number came up as an alert on my Free Credit report.com monthly report that my card was listed as lost or stolen.  I called this number which prompted me to enter my credit card number.  This is a scam.  Scary that free credit report did not catch it since they are charging me a monthly service to prevent this.

This number is a real Bank Of America phone number. It is listed on the credit report as the contact number for Bank of America credit cards. I know this from personal experience with having a Bank of America card.

this is inded a valid B of A number. Not sure why some people who say they don't have accounts there are getting calls. They followed up on a refund I was due to let me know it had been credited.

I received a computer call with caller id giving that number. They claimed to be from the fraud department at Barclay, with whom i do not have an account. Instead, i called the customer servce number on the back of my real card and they told me all was well. I fear someone may have learned to spoof caller IDs.

Multiple calls from this number. Have stopped even answering the phone. Makes me furious, because I have been on "do not call" list for years.

Got a call from this number after a transaction request at BofA website.  Called a number I found at the BofA website and person confirmed I was contacted regarding request.  Never called number so I can't say it was suspicious.  MBNA Card Services was bought by BofA and so can be confusing as to who is really asking for your information.  Why is there no Call Type choice that relates to this type of call, ie. service call or courtesy call.

This is a valid Bank of America number.  I've used it several times and never had a problem, but I initiated the call myself.  If I had RECEIVED a call from this number asking for account numbers, PIN, etc., I'd definitely be suspicious.

This is a big scam.  My caller ID listed as Card Services and when I called the number back that's how it was answered.  Any legit credit card will answer with their name. When I ask what's the name of the company they hung up on me.  I will be blocking their number.  Don't give them any information, this is a big scam to get information from you.

Got call on house phone June 9, 2017 12:45 pm Friday. Called back and received same message as what the person said previously. You have to be stupid to give your social security number and-or account number which is asked to say on message or input on phone. Scam.
