- Not Mike TurnerThis one rings and starts a recorded message for one Michael Turner. I just got a new number and apparently the guy who had it before me had an unpaid debt! What luck!!
- I like Mike!| 1 replyThis is a collection company. They take up your whole voicemail with this robot recording telling you if you are NOT so and so hang up. If you ARE so and so push 3. Then another recorded message comes on telling you to call a different 800# and that this is an attempt to collect a debt and any informatoin will be used for that purpose.
- Caller: Infinity Group
- Robert NashvilleThis is Infinity Group Receivables (not sure of exact spelling); a collection agency. They do go through this idiot process of saying who they are looking for by name and if you aren't that person to hang up; by not doing so you "acknowledge" you are the person you are looking for and they ask you to call them.
I'm not quite sure how an answering machine is supposed to acknowledge anything and I suspect that this is borderline if not crossing the line in terms of possible third-party disclosure and/or harassment.
I would suggest that whether or not you are the person they are looking for; I'd be thinking about filing complaints with your state AG, BBB, and perhaps with the FCC (telephone harassment) and/or for FDCPA violations.- Caller: Infinity Group Receivables
- dmarkSame thing I have a new number and have been receiving a call from this annoying computer since day one. Very frustrating.
- Caller: unknown
- TZIVIGETTING CALLS FROM THEM ALLMOST EVEY DAY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY WANT
- Alejandro P.Same here. It's the third time I find the same message. I called them back after the first time they called but I was transfered to a voicemail and I left them a message saying not to call me never again because I don't owe a penny to anyone. But it didn't work they did it again today and when I called back to 8004500737 a very rude woman said she asked me the number where the meesages are being left, but she could not find any account with that number. Tihs is so annoying. I hope they will stop now.

- fdasanithese people send me a letter for FIRE DEPT OF THE CITY OF NY for a collection. never used a ambulance from FDNY. They really need to check who they pickup. never been sick. INFINITY GROUP RECIEVABLES
- Caller: Infinity Group ????????
- JessicaMy voicemail picked up this call and it was the latter half of a voicemail from a collection agency. I do not know who it is for or why they call my cell phone incessantly! I have had my number for about a year and just started receiving these phone calls about a few months ago.
- AntoniaThey are calling a teenager's phone. They ought to be ashamed of themselves.
- J. MooreWe have been receiving multiple calls for a "Sam Jobbie". We've had our phone number for almost 12 years, so someone must have randomly used our number. I have no way of letting someone know they have the wrong home since no human ever exists. How can I report this????
- debI JUST GOT ONE OF THOSE PHONE CALLS , LOOKING FOR A ROBERT . THERE IS OVER 100 ROBERT WITH HIS LAST NAME THAT LIVES IN MICHIGAN . THEY DIDNT GIVE A MIDDLE NAME . SO U DONT KNOW IF IT IS FOR U OR ANOTHER PERSON WITH THE SAME NAME .
- Darla Begerti just receive 3 phone calls 1 right after the other at about 8:25 pm and they don't leave you a voice mail I think this is very childish if you want to call someone why not leave a message
- Caller: N/A
- Not the OneI also have a non-published non listed number for over 1 year. To change it at the phone company, it would cost $8.50 to get another phone number with another phone problem or more harrassment calls from another previous owner.(not the solution for me). If I go to www.whitepages.com and look up my phone number, the other person is listed who has not had my number for over one year. Is Infinity Group Receivables possibly using sites like this for FREE PEOPLE SEARCHES???? The website requests that you go to www.privacylock.ussearch.com to remove unwanted listings but I have tried and it doesn't pull up for me. I tried to call customer service 1-800-877-3272 for ussearch.com which powers www.whitepages.com and was told that they could not correct my listing and there is nobody to correct the listing and no manager to talk to and it is located in India so there is nobody responsible to remove it. I further emailed csservice@ussearch.com to request it be removed from their website. By the way, all insurance agents, financial service companies and telemarketers are required by law in most states to look up phone numbers BEFORE CALLING THEM to make sure they are not on the do not call list. Infinity Group does not fall into "telemarketing" laws (as I was told by my local police station) since they are not soliciting in my state (even though the call was from "out of state" AND OBVIOUSLY THEY DON'T HAVE TO FOLLOW "DO NOT CALL" LAWS EITHER. We need to email all attorney generals, state reps, state senators, and the govenor of each state to change legislation on this. These companies are not following privacy policies and they are not following laws of our states. To me, this is harrassment of my identity, my phone, and my life. The police tried to send a postcard to locate this person associated with my phone number (which has never lived in my house - even the previous owner can verify), also the postman was promised a reward for finding this person and even dared to ask if I WAS THIS PERSON. There is a website for International Internet Complaints at the FBI website for anyone who wishes to make the same complaint.
- Mary McBrideSince I get 2-3- or 4 calls a day leaving messages on my answering machine and interrupting my life continuously 365 days a year, and I have filed a police report and I have tried to contact the company and the calls havent stopped for a person with collection debt who has not had my non-published non-listed private number for over 1 year and never lived at my address.
I suggest that every one with this same problem with 1-800-450-0737 to file a complaint hare as well as contact the attorney general, senators & state reps to FORCE THESE AGENCIES TO HAVE ACCURATE PHONE LISTINGS BEFORE HARRASSING PEOPLE. Per my local police station, these collections companies currently are not governed by laws that solicitors like insurance companies, and financial companies, and other public institutions have to ABIDE BY and are required to HAVE CURRENT INFORMATION and must respect the DO NOT CALL policy. I INSIST THAT EVERYONE MAKING COMPLAINTS SHOULD LOBBY FOR MORE LAWS ON COLLECTION AGENCIES. They do not even give a person a chance to remove themselves from a DEFAMING AND HARRASSING EXPERIENCE when they are not even the TARGET! - FranI can't believe this is starting again! These people are trying to collect a totally nonexistent 18-year-old utility bill they claim we owe. There is no such bill!! They refuse to provide anything in writing (that's because there is NO SUCH BILL). I guess they are just hoping that some dope is stupid and scared enough to fall for this scam and send them money! So here we go again, with filing more reports, complaints, etc., etc. But now we will also contact the GA Attorney General's Office as well.

- Elusiv1| 1 replyThese pricks call all day everyday...since i have unlimited minutes on my phone i usually just sit the phone down and let them chatter on as long as they want..or ramble of some jiberish in german or russian... cheap entertainment.
I wonder how many calls there system can take at once...would be nice to organise several hundred people to call them all at once and crash there system - ROCK 54I think these calls may be a scam looking for acct. #'s and such....So be very careful what you say and do concerning these calls. I too have received a few of these. I DO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS. If they can't leave a voicemail...I can't talk to them.
- Caller: ????????????????????????????
- etrickedI got the same call as described by others...a past debt from my husband supposedly having been transported by FDNY to a NY hospital in 2003...totally never happened. However, in retrospect, in trying to clear up their "mistaken identity", I was duped into giving my husband's date of birth, town where we live, and last 4 digits of his social security number. I'm afraid I just fell for an identity-theft trick....and I'm a smart and usually-alert grown woman!

Infinity Group Receivables calls for wrong person. I called back and asked to remove my #. They wanted my name to verify I wasn't the debtor supposedly. I hope the calls stop- Caller: Infinity Group
