- Louise BCalled yesterday, this number is assigned to Direct TV, however, it was a man with accent saying he was from Medicare and the new card I got was paper and should be plastic and that I would be getting a bunch of discounts from Medicare when I get new card in 3-4 days. He needed to verify everything and asked my name, which they should have known if actually from Medicare, and my previous Medicare number (which is my social). I told him I will contact Medicare directly and he hung up. Called again this morning, but because I blocked, it disconnected after first ring.

- GGGFirst off - I am on the no call list.
My second language is French and I have taken to answering unknown calls in French to unsettle and deter any potential scam callers. I have found that actual legitimate callers tend to stay on the line (although they are a little confused at first!). That said - this number called me last night and when it was obvious I was not intending on speaking English to them - the man on the other end of the phone called me a "B*tch" and hung up! Customer service at it's finest - lol! Absolutely blocked!- Caller: ??
- KateCaller asked if I was still using my old Medicare card or if I got my new one. I told her I was on Medicare and she rudely hung up on me
