Eight calls and 7 voice mails in 3 days.  I have no JC Penny account.  Weirdly I just shopped there for the first time in years - a coincidence?  Incredibly inappropriate in any case.

The calls started on 05 Jul 2012. When I received it, I had no idea who it was so I blocked it. Now they have called 4 times to date and I really don't know who they are or what they want. I have call blocker on my phones, so when I get a call from someone I don't know or want to speak with, I just block it.

These people call up to 20 times a day. I get real tired of the phone calls. I have told these people that I only talk to people that are in the USA, speak english, and were born in the USA. I'm tired off talking to people that are not USA citzens.

I just got a call on my cell phone from this number. No message left. I suspect that it's JC Penney Credit, which is GE Money and they are notorious for using illegal collection practices. What irritates me is that I just sent them a payment so they have no reason to call me.

I love how they call and try to get information from you.  I don't have and never have had a JC Penney credit card.  I don't even shop at JC Penney because they just suck.  I also like how that dude named Roger is responding saying are not rude and the one where he says the call was not for you. If the call isn't for people who don't have a JC Penney's Card why the hell do you guys keep calling our numbers when we explain that to you?  Are you guys just that ignorant and stupid or what?

I applied for a JC Penny credit card back in Sept. 2012.  Ran up a tiny balance - less than $200.  Paid two payments on time.  The third payment was about 10 days late.  So instead of just a 3rd payment, I payed off the balance amount (about $120) just to close the account and be done with it.  For the last month, I'm getting automated calls from these morons at 800-527-3369 asking ME to take a message for ME, or put the call on hold to go get ME, etc.  No more accounts with JC Penny if they can't manage their customers information or how their customers are handled.  I just don't answer.  Hopefully I'm running up their phone bill.  Oh, and they were real slick, extra super morons, when they called from another number.  Oh yeah, that worked.  IDIOTS!

These are people whose mothers and father were/are idiots and the "I will be stupid my whole poor life" genes got passed on to them and now they can't do anything with their useless, meaningless, unimportant lives.  I almost feel sorry for them.  Get a life loser debt collectors, or go see the sandman if there is no hope for you.  More oxygen and resources for me and my kids, and for those who mean something on this planet.

This guys calls up & asks for someone whose name he couldn't even pronounce, told him wrong # and insisted on getting info from me-I hung up on him. Who is this idiot?

I keep getting calls as well on my cell phone.  They have left voice messages that are so garbled and muffled that they are impossible to understand.  I went to my cell phone account online and  blocked them. We'll see how that works.

I have gotten a call from this number every day for about a week. I do not have JCPenney account, but I think we had an account for furniture a few years ago with Ashley - and that is considered GE Money. (account was paid off several years ago and we never use it now)

I never answer and the recording leaves a message, but it is cut off so I get.... "170 Election Road, Draper, Utah" so I guess that's where they are. I just keep ignoring it - very annoying.

Phone calls from this number have been coming in for a week, they never leave a message.  When I answered they knew my name and said they were trying to collect an overdue account.  So, after listening to the recorded message I expected to get to the bottom of it, but they put me on HOLD!!  Read from other posters this is a scam, so it saves me the trouble of having thesescheming  idiots on my min for no good reason.  Makes you wonder where they got your name.  Very glad we have a credit security system.

I am getting numerous calls daily, from morning to night, from this number but I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.  They don't leave a message but are absurdly insistent on calling, calling, calling!

Please help stop whoever this is!

Been getting this number,but,don't recognize the number,so I don't answer .. I have a JcPenney account. but I haven't bought anything from them for years ..  I'll just ignore them ,in time, they'll hopefully give up calling,.

I get at least 10 calls a day from this number.  I don't answer, I have the number on blocked calls, but it is still annoying

Write to them and tell them to cease calling as it could be considered harassment.  You ay want to contact an attorney if it continues.  If they have something in writing (it may cost you $2 to send receipt requested, but it should stop the calls),

Calls from Unavailable @ 800-527-3369 have started in early August & showed up on my caller ID since 8/8 7:03a.....9:33a......5:03p & 8:03p; 8/9 8:34a.......8/10 10:08a.....5:00p........7:04p.....7:48p & 8:34P.  This is what showed up....I think they hung up after so many rings before my answering machine picked up & my caller ID didn't record the incoming call.  The very first call on 8/8 wasn't anything to do with JC Penny......I let the recorder take the message & the message they left was about talking to a SENATOR & if I was [they said my first name] to choose #1 on my key pad.  I've done nothing....no calling back.....nothing - I just let them ring & after so many rings they hang up before my answering machine picks up.  These people are very sick....I hope they know that what goes around comes around.  Sorry but if the government wants to talk to me about anything......I don't talk through a robot on a recorded message?.....GIVE ME A TAX PAYERS BREAK!!!!!!  Also this month I have received an unbelievable amount of Unknown Caller & Private Caller with NO TELEPHONE # [harassment calls].  There's a code to block the name & number so these "SICK FREAKS" can get their "ROCKS OFF" !!  Imagine that one in the year 2013!  GUESS I MUST HAVE "Pd SOMEBODY OFF"????????

To above message......"JUST AN AFTERTHOUGHT" to everyone who gets a call from "THESE SICK FREAKS OF NATURE".......they probably make these calls from their "VERY CREATIVE SICK MINDS" and then get on line.....type in their creative made up phone number that [with todays technology and codes enables these CREATIVE LOSERS] to HARRASS NORMAL PEOPLE [who knows for what reasons].........TO GET THEIR SICK ROCKS OFF BY READING OUR REMARKS ABOUT THEIR HARRASSING PHONE CALLS!!!  It's like playing Russian Roulette........Let them HANG THEMSELVES......Big mistakes are made by the SMARTEST PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE THEY KNOW IT ALL........they're probably BORED PSYCHOLOGY MAJORS or CHILD GENIUSES or something WEIRD like that.  I guess we should ALL FEEL SORRY FOR THEM & GIVE THEM A "GROUP HUG"??????  Maybe we should all just not comment on line.......keep a log of the calls......save the recorded messages on our answering machines [for the police or whoever] notify the police & get a trap set up on our phones, etc.  They may be getting too much info from us on line.  I've reported a run of calls from other numbers & as soon as I do it stops for a few months.  The last run of calls that I had like this was in April/May 2013.  After I checked out the number on the internet & reported the calls they stopped until Aug. 8th.

Called this number they state its JC Pennys, Im confused Ive never been late with a payment and all of the sudden my payments went from 25.00 to 95.00?????? With no explanation... very concerned and will probably close my account.

I got a recorded call from them on 1/3/14 at night and on 1/4/14 at around 5:20pm. It says' JCPenney but I looked on their website and this number isn't for them even.
