An Indian voice calling from JC Penny.  Just an Indian (like country) [***].

These people seem like [***],  real terse rude message mentioning JCPenney and General Electric.   probably neither are really involved.  who are these [***]?  info fishing, and debt collecting likely.

same thing happened to me -----never got a bill  --they sent one ----paid it and now get constant phone calls from them

Call coming in as UNKNOWN, which I will *never* answer. Just leaves a message "125 Draper Utah, 84020 1-800-527-3369". Can't block an UNKNOWN number <shm> Googled their message and it comes back to Synchrony Bank 170 West Election Road, Suite 125 Draper, UT 84020, which now holds JCPenney credit card accounts.

I don't answer unwanted calls,have number programmed to go straight to voice mail. After reading some of these other posts have determined that caller is most likely a scammer claiming to be from JC Penney's. I wonder if an insider at JCP is selling information.

I have never had anything to do with JCPenny other than watching their commercials and they call me several times a day. About four times I've picked up and was answered by a spanish robot. I don't even speak spanish! I can just tell because I live in Californoa and know hpw it sounds as well as some specific words. I even changed their ringtone to "an idiot is attempting to reach you on your cellular device" but once it went off in class lol.

This is a legit number. If you have a JC Penny account, it's on your monthly statement. Pay your bills and they won't call you!

They keep calling about my JC Penny credit card. I do not even have a JC Penny account. I've had this number for over 10 years. I assume it's a scam. A scam meant to seem realistic. Look up the phone number for JC Penny on their official site or on the back of your credit card. Don't call these people back with your information.

You need to write down all the times and dates they call you and how many times you tell them do not call this number back. Time Warner just lost a lawsuit where a person sue them for the same thing. I now have a log bog.  I dp not have a JCPENNYS Card and I have told them that.

I do not have a JC Pennys account !!!. And I have great credit because I pay my bills.

As I have said before. I pay my bills and have great credit. And I do not have a JCP card and have never had one

This number calls me everyday and I don't even answer.

I received a message for me to contact them.  I called back, it's an automated systems wants me to give them my account number and bank account number to pay my bill.  I haven't used it in 4 months.  There is no balance.  They are getting more sophisticated.

Oh e been getting calls from this number and emails also. They say they are Sychrony Bank calling for JC Penney regarding a past due bill. I don’t even have  Penney’s card. Obviously a scam
