1st party creditor, isn't bound by the Harmonized Debt Collections act.  That's after your debt has charged off.  You're still a customer of the company until it's gets written off.  Snail mail eh?  What the hell do you call a MAILED statement with a minimum payment required by a due date.  Also - if you're trying to saying "do not contact" - They require that request in writing from you, AND only applies for each individual instance your card becomes delinquent.  Learn the facts before you start giving bad information to people.  Classify wages?  WTF is that?  Do you mean garnish?  .....  Anyone on this site - google up collections agency Canadian Tire card, garnishment....  Seriously - if you can't pay - check out a non-profit credit counsellor.  Don't listen to some street lawyer who spouts bad info.

It can't just be bill collection. I've had my ct card a whole week and haven't used it and they've called 3 times

This number is driving me crazy it calls every day of the week and theres no one is on the line I want it to stop calling my phone now

What this number to stop calling my home number there is no one there and it stupid to have a recorder to call you  it should be a really people on the line . with all the people that out there screaming people who say your not one of them this number comes up with no name saying who you are and when you get to the phone there no one there or it I get a opportunity telling me to hung my phone up and try my number again  so I get bill for the call stop calling my house phone scramers

ya  they  have  called  me  4  times  on my cell  i have call privacy  and  my true caller  blocks  there  calls  so  i don't  even hear  it  ring  i love  i suggest  you  people  do  the  same  if  its  bothering  you  that  they  ring  the phone all the time

they  call  to  many  times  a  day  starting  very  early  in  the  morning  i am not feeling  well  but they keep calling  please  make them stop

They called so much that I had to send them a formal request to use mail only.  It was strange. I would answer when they called most of the time, and the call would immediately disconnect. And they'd never leave a message.

Collection agent, message for you. "Get A Life."  Guess you are a Collection agent because you couldn't get hired at anything else.

If it is CT looking for payment why are they calling me? I have my current statement in hand and it shows not only did I pay last month (and every month before) but the amount currently due is next week.

I will be sure to answer if they bother to call anytime I am home and tell them where they can put their card. There are plenty of other cards out there. I am disappointed after having a card as long as I can remember (20 years or more) and never receiving a call or notice of late payment until these erroneous calls began a few days back.

If you weren't such dicks then maybe people would pay what they can.

Our phone keeps ringing, but at least once there was a person at the other end of 1-800-561-4465.  Claimed to be Canada Tire, possibly financial services. Very annoying though, as they call very early in the morning.

some ppl may be late on there payment but its illegal for you to be calling someone more then one time a day. Ok Mr. Collection agent the next time anyone gets 2!!!!!!!!! calls in a day thats harassment time to call a lawyer SUCKA

This # calls 15 times per day 7 days a week. This is harassment.
