Those who claim that this number is "pre-litigation department" are likely employees of FIA Card, aka Bank of America(BOA). Don't be fooled!  Remember BOA accepted billions of taxpayer dollars to bail them out! Yet have no issues in crossing the legal line in harassing you. If you been a victim of their unfair debt collection practices, file a complaint at FTC.gov or call FTC’s toll-free helpline at 1-877-FTC-HELP.  File a complaint also with your State's Attorney General. Also, email or contact your Congressional Representatives, and let them know of BOA tactics, and that "your" tax payers dollars could be better spent elsewhere! You can locate your representative by zip code at congress.org!

this is a company called collectcorp. they are Bank of America's pre litigation people for delinquent accounts.

Although the calls are annoying, i do understand why they are calling me. it is not a scam.

Collectcorp is a canadian based collection corp that uses abusive styles to try and collect.  They call everyone around you to force you to call....It's ABUSIVE and they need to be reported.  It borders on harassment and they all speak in broken english, and are difficult to understand.  This is a very bad company

Just said to call back at 1 800 562 6420 and told my boss that it was regarding insurance.

BOA and other companies need to stop outsourcing to other companies. I live in the US and would prefer someone to call me in ENGLISH...Plain English not broken English! Caller Odiah is extrememely rude. She lied to my boss saying this was regarding insurance instead of the personal harrassment call that it was. She also stated that I have a cell number which I don't have. When I asked her to repear it to me, she couldn't give me a number. Most people are out of work in this economy so tactics like this do not make people more inclined to pay their debt. Show come consideration and courtesy instead being a jerk about it!

This number has called my employer multiple times and asked to speak with my coworkers.  AND, then leaves messages for me on my coworkers voicemail that they are a debt collection agency and for ME to call them back.  Embarrasing to me because my coworkers do not need to know my personal business!

This is Bank of America. They called wanting me to take a message to my neighbor.

What clowns.

I called the number back, asked them who they were. They said Bank of America. I asked what they wanted they told my the neighbor owes a debt.

What clowns, now they broke the law.

In the last 2 years I've made about 10 grand off "collection call" wrong numbers, looking for the neighbor, looking for the employee.

Just Keep Calling.

Instead  of calling me at home they are calling my relatives who are not envolved in any of this business.
This is pure harrassment.  My relatives call me and I tell them to go ahead and give the lady "Becky" our home number, but she never calls here.  Go figure these people are unlawfully harrassing people for know reason whatsoever.  If they wanted to talk to me my home number is not unlisted anyway, it makes know since.

They've called FOUR TIMES in the last ten minutes.  FOUR TIMES.  TEN MINUTES.  That includes a call they made while I was typing the previous sentence.  Unbelievable.  I've tried talking to them in the past and they are the most unreasonable debt collectors I've ever dealt with.  They threaten, they harass, they throw around false accusations, etc.  You name it, they pull it.  I've tried explaining I'm in a very uncertain job and financial situation right now but that I fully intend to pay them, and they won't hear it.  Good grief.

Just called from this same number..."Jack" ...I ask who is this?  "Jack".  What do you want?  Fishing for my ID.  I don't tell 'em who I am.  I ask 'em who they represent?  FIA Card Services.  I owe...big time, I owe.  Lost my Job 15 mos ago and have no money to pay ANY unsecured debt.  Bankruptcy in the works.  Usury lending and criminal harrasment.

These people called my church and said they wanted to discuss a personal business matter with me.
I have no idea how they new where I attend church.  This is a disgrace and should not be allowed.
They willstoop very low it seems.  I was forced to retire due to a disability and I just do not have any
way to pay this creditor off.  I tried a credit management company but Bank of America/Fia Card Services would not agree to it.  Now I have heard that Bank of America is owned by a company based in India.  If so then that's why they seem so far above American Laws etc.

Scammers who asked for my credit card number but refused to identify themselves.

Debt collection. They're calling an old number (this is a new number for me) asking for someone I don't know. They weren't particularly friendly, but didn't keep me on the phone too long.

Call from an 800 number, I ask who's calling, it's andrea. I say, "I'll give you one more chance, who's calling". She says, "Andrea, I spoke to you last week with your wife Kelly." I don't have a wife Kelly, nor do I have any debt in default. Must just be phishing for information on this poor Kelly person.
