Caller said I was 2 months past due on my Kohl's card.  I don't even have a Kohl's card.  They also wanted the last 4 digits of my SS# to verify.

Received a very polite call from someone claiming to be from Kohl's, saying I was 2 months behind on my account. It could be - I moved recently and mail has been slow to catch up with me. But it just didn't feel right. He had alot of info on me correct - down to my last purchase. Wanted me to pay by check over the phone. I did not - their WEB site is down at this time, so no one to call and verify. I'll visit a store and see what's up.

I got a message on my phone from this number alleging to be from Kohl's. They asked for someone whose name I don't recognize. I have had my number for 2 months and have gotten all kinds of collection agency calls for people who don't live here and whom I don't know. I called them back to get the number taken off their list. Whoever answered, English was definitely not their first language. But worse, I couldn't have been Kohl's - it went to a recording before the non-English speaker picked up and the recording was an ad having to do with WalMart. When I told the guy I wanted my number off the list he said okay but first I was eleigble for $600 in prizes...which is when I hung up. This is a scam. Kohl's needs to know it's being used this way.

I have never even been to a Kohl's, I had to look up what this was. They hung up after I told them I was going to report it to the FBI. Block this call maybe a scam! Also call outside of legal hours day and night.

This call is from Kohl's.  My payment is 2 month's past due.  They are polite and it is a legitimate call.

When I answer they just hang up. I won't answer anymore.

Keep getting calls from (262) 703-1977, my phone says its from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. They leave me a 44 second voicemail every single time saying "Please call Kohl's Dept. Store, Please call Kohl's Dept. Store...." over and over for 44 seconds... Now I just ignore it and block the number. But now I'm getting a call from 800-575-6457, and no one says anything when I answer. But when I call back, it says "Thanks for calling Kohl's Dept. Store..." and then they ask me for my current bank acct. number, routing number, and social security. I come from a very well known and influential family, and we have a powerful security co-op monitoring all of our calls & communications. They researched the number and found it is in-fact a scam that claims to be Kohl's, supposedly started by a former Kohl's executive who is now trying to hinder the corporation's (Kohl's) reputation by taking their caller-list and scamming customers with automated messages. I hope that this will help you all, and hopefully protect you from any white-collar theft. 800-575-6457 calls constantly. No message left. No response when i answer. Very annoying.

Got a message addressing my husband telling him to call this 800 number.  Called the number and could not get through to a person, recalled Kohl's using customer service number posted on their website and no one could explain why I needed to call.  My account was clear...I am very suspicious after reading comments here that a scam of some sort is in play here.

I also received a call from the number above.  No message was left.  I do have a Kohl's account.  I have not shopped at Kohl's in a long time.  And I do NOT owe any payments to them.  My account balance is zero.  There is NO reason for them to call.  Obviously, it is NOT Kohl's!!!!

This number called me today but I didn't answer. I looked it up and saw on this website that it is a scam. I will be blocking this number!

Called from +1 (262) 703-1977 saying Kohls. And referred to 8005756457. We do NOT have a Kohls account and have not applied. Had cell and wife's name.

Person politely called from 1800-575-6457  stating I owed from Kohl’s. Then asked to verify the last 4 of my social... continued the say we needed to verify some information before stating I needed to pay a minimum balance. However when I asked stating this seemed very fishy they would say they would take off a late charge as long as I verified my full debit card information.    Very sketchy and clearly not kohl’s

SCAM. Calls received from various 651-273-xxxx numbers including 6349, 6297, 6306, 6321, 6305, etc.  The callers asked for different people and said to call Kohl's at 800-575-6457. An Internet check showed the 651 numbers belong to a company called Nuetral Tandem LLC which appears to sell phone numbers. The callers could have called from anywhere. I have no business with Kohls. A phone call to Kohls (with the actual number from their website) revealed they did not have my phone number in their system. Did not call the 800-575-6457 number back as it appears this is not a valid contact.  SCAM.

I have been receiving numerous calls from various numbers (in which I do not answer) they leave a recorded message to call Kohl's department store. I received a voicemail today from an actual person to call 1-800-575-6457 asap. I called and it was and automated message "Thank you for calling Kohl's department store..." I hung up and looked up the customer service number for Kohl's and it wasn't the same number. Then, I decided to look up the number on Google and I see that multiple people have been getting the same calls. Please do not answer calls from numbers that are unknown (I block all of them now) and never give out any personal information over the phone. I hope that the calls stop because I'm beyond annoyed with them at this point.

Kohl's does not issue their own credit cards. I forget which bank does but if you did not pay your card you would be getting a call from the bank and not the store.

Not a scam but a very stupid "collections" system. Got a letter (twice now, first time was over a year ago) saying I owed $0.00 on my account (I do have a Kohl's account but always pay it off right away) and that my "account is deliquent." Made no sense. Called the number, asked the guy what he shows my last payment amount was. He was correct on that. He seemed not to understand why I would have gotten a letter like this. I believe it's legit communication from Kohls, but that the people running their accounting department have a glitch in the system.

Getting calls from +1 (707) 710-8949  to call (800) 575-6457 Automated message. First asks for last 4 of social, then asks for account number or full social. Seems very suspicious.
