- jon| 1 replyI was receiving calls for many weeks 2-3 times a day on my office phone. Every few days they would leave a message to call them back. I finally answered my phone & spoke to a woman from "The Card Processing Center". She asked me if my wife was there. I told her my wife doesn't know what this call is about & doesn't want what they have to offer. I told this woman to stop calling my office. The woman said this is the only contact number she has. I told her it was rude to call sometimes 4-5 times a day & to stop. The woman said that my wife & i were rude to not call back. I couldn't believe the gall. I told she unless my wife knew what it wasto stop calling because she will not call you back & never answers this phone. Believe it or not the calls keep coming!
- polizeI do get call from this number atleast 4to 6 times a day. When the call comes in and is not answered, next call comes in imediately. Whoever is doing that is fooling around, times like this they need to find a better job that gets them some money, if not they need a wack or a smack or both to get some realization into thier head forever.

- mark c| 1 replyGuy is calling my son's cellphone. He asks for someone (name unintelligible). Several times this week. I am going to report to the FBI.
- Janicecard processing center and to call back they have important message or me
- Bozo| 1 replySame as above caller. No idea who it is. There are add ons to your phone that are available, so that you can simply screen out any calls that have certain prefixes, such as, 800, 866, 877, 888, for example. Problem is, if it's from a good caller, you'll miss that call, but if you've landed in tough economic times, there are a couple of delightful products out there and peace of mind is the catchword, no?! The collectors simply can't make it through to ya by phone! Doesn't stop the mail though.

I have a Magic Jack for my home number and this number has been ringing and ringing for the past hour and a half now; onscreen it says "Incoming Call - Accept/Ignore" not costing me anything to let it just continue. Want to see how long they will keep it up. I keep my PC on all the time. I have a cell phone so I don't need the other line.

Note Be careful, if you pay every 30 days like those of us on fixed income, you will be late and subj. to higher interest rates, new fees, and this type of harrassement. Thank you Congress

- AnnoyedI got phone calls at least 5 times a day from this number. Everytime I answered the phone, a recording message asked me to "Please Hold"! What??? They were the one who called me and they asked me to wait and wasted my time? I usually just hung up the phone. This morning I got two phone calls from them and I finally decided to call them back. The lady who answered the phone was NOT very friendly at all and insisted to get my account number and my name. What account number?? I told her that I didn't even know who/what company they were? She continued to ask me all these question rudely and I hung up on her. 10 minutes later I called the number back and a nicer lady answered the phone. I explained it to her about the annoying phone calls I've been receiving and politely asked her to remove my number from their list. She said OK and my number was removed. About an hour later I got another phone call from this number and this really irritated me. I called back and talked to Pamela (another nice lady) and explained it to her how upset I was. She apologized and said that my number and account(?????) would be removed!
- no money?| 1 replyMerrick bank looking for money, pay your bill or they will never stop calling. if you cannot afford to pay your bill, call them and tell them you would like to suspend the account. NEVER tell them you lost your job, they will close the account and ruin your credit/life. suspending the account will be like putting a student loan in deferrment, it shows up on your credit, but not as 30, 60, 90, days late. Tell them you were injured or have been out of town, try to make any kind of payment while under suspension. They can **** with us, but we cosumers we can fight back. Don't close the account that will ruin your credit too. then when you get it all paid off/down, set one of your bills to be paid with the card, and your checking account to pay the credit card, over a year that will improve your score. It's not about Merrick Bank, it's about this horrible economy. Don't ignore them, I did that ten years ago and I just got my credit back on track. The credit agencies and the banks are in bed together! they say it stays on for 7 years, but it's more like ten. If you wait to fix it, let's say a year from now....you have just added another year to it being on your credit report because the default is "from the last time you contacted them or fought the credit agency. so 7 years becomes 8 and so on. I have spent many, many days and letters and phone calls to the most unfriendly people you could imagine. hint: be very sweet when you call, if you get a jerk, hang up and call back until you get a nice person. the jerk hates his job, the nice person really want's to help. good luck. And I disagree that this is congressional simply because they don't care about our credit score! and lets not forget the marriage of the credit agencies and the credit card companies.

- Mrsc0829 replies to no money?I keep getting calls from this number probably 4-5 times a day.. finally I called them to see who they were (Merrick Bank), they are looking for someone with the same last name as mine. I told them there wasn't anyone here by that name, the woman rudely said well you have the same last name I replied "thousands of other people do too, are you calling them too?" She said we will continue to call until we find the person that we are looking for, I told here that am on the National Do Not Call Registry and if they didn't remove my number, I would file a complaint for harassment. It's been 4 days and no phone calls!!!
