In some cases if they refuse any amount of payment then they also for fit the account. I won a case like that in the past. they might wont it all but CAN NOT refuse any attempt at payment.

I had an outstanding debt with Verizon in the amount of $78.00.  This was the second agency to attempt to collect the debt.  I paid it in full with promise that I would receive a confirmation letter in the mail in order to dispute it from my credit history.  Needless to say, one month later and no letter.  I have went to their website in order to contact them(did this this morning) and now am waiting on a call back.  After reading all this, I am not to hopeful for this.

I don't know who these people are nor do I care. They have called my other number at least a dozen times or more. That number is answered by my fax machine. Do they speak fax?!!!

I keep getting calls from this # and others for a person I have never even heard of (and I've had my # for over 11 years!). I wish this person would stop giving this # out or for these people who keep calling to believe me when I say I'm not her and truly remove my number from their list(s)! I've tried call block but they always have more than one #.

This phone number calls me every single day. It is very irritating considering that I have no idea what they want from me. I finally decided to block this number from calling me.

The call upwards of 12 times a day for a Mary. I'm not her and have had my number for 10 years now. They don't stop no matter how many times to tell them to. Wake me up at obscene hours for B.S.

They keep calling and hanging up.

This unkown number called me 6 times.

If ignore 2 second msg. nothing said. If I pick up I say nothing and call is termanated. I have been told by a friend (Federal agent) never to say a word -even hello.unless you know who it is. These people sometimes will use your voice print. I do not totally understand it. I have taken the advice. One can not be to carefull . Many scumbags out there. I advertise on Craigs list,to sell stuff I no longer want. In my posting ,I instruct people to leave a voice message. NO TEXT. If nothing else it seperates the men from the boys and I get scammed less. Defenatly ignore "Restricetd" and those alike.

They are liars. The feds do not announce themselves that way.

They kept calling me from different VA numbers, I sent them a letter stop callng. It has been about 3 months now. They have started calling from a 1 800 number.

Go to YouTube.. Watch why you shouldn't pay debt collectors.  Please trust me when I say you'll thank me.

I receive at least one phone call from 800-604-0064 every day.  This has been going on for at least a month.
